The developers responded to the negative feedback and review-bombing on Steam with a promise to seriously reconsider their course, and they’ve delivered. On October 15, the studio releasedupdate 1.001.104 forHelldivers 2, successfully ending the controversy caused by previous unwanted nerfs. Although not a part of the concluded 60-day plan, the latest update continues to improve the experience for players.
The recently released patch 01.001.201 comes with a handful of fixes for top-priority issues that have persisted inHelldivers 2for quite a while. According to the detailedpatch notes, players can expect a lot of improvements that will make their experience less frustrating. Arrowhead has fixed severalannoying issues inHelldivers 2that caused hive breaker drills and mission terminals to become inaccessible. Some menu bugs and matchmaking issues have been dealt with, as well as some instances of excessive ragdolling and incorrectly functioning weapons.
Apart from the numerous fixes, the update includes a few balance changes.
