Little Nightmares 3 Will Be Featured At Gamescom 2024
The game’s inclusion in the livestream should encourage fans who have been waiting to hear more about the title, especially following an announcement in late May thatLittle Nightmares 3had been hit with a delay. A statement from theLittle Nightmaresteam at the time informed fans that the game’s release was being pushed back to 2025. While the announcement didn’t go into too much detail about the development process, it indicated that the team would require more time to get the game to the level of quality that fans would expect and to give the game “the care and love it deserved.”
Little Nightmares 3is unlikely to be Supermassive’s only appearance at the Opening Night Live showcase. A teaser post from earlier in August suggested that the developer would have aGamescom reveal forProject 8020, the first game planned for Season 2 ofThe Dark Pictures Anthology. Additionally, Supermassive is working onThe Casting of Frank Stone, a narrative-based offshoot of asymmetrical survival horror gameDead by Daylight, which is slated to launch on September 3.
