The latestHonkai: Star Railleak from HomDGCathas suggested Sunday will appear as a boss in the Apocalyptic Shadow mode. The Penacony-based character will allegedly appear in the form of The Great Septimus and have two phases. He will possess various abilities, including Volteggiando and Tempestoso, which deliver a certain amount of damage. As per the leak, Sunday will arrive in the Apocalyptic Shadow mode inHonkai: Star Rail’s version 2.6, which will allegedly be released in October.

The boss version ofHonkai: Star Rail’s Sundaywill reportedly transform into Embryo of Philosophy and gain all weakness types. He will summon several Echoes of Faded Dreams and share HP with them, like The Great Septimus. Upon using Tempestoso, these companions will recover their toughness. There is a likelihood that the upcoming boss will have a different core passive than the Steadfast Guard (used by other Apocalyptic Shadow bosses).

Honkai: Star Rail’s Apocalyptic Shadowis one of the endgame modes where players take on two bosses, Starbane Doombringer and Soulhook Sovereign (Kafka), to obtain bountiful rewards. These enemies have two phases and four traits, which make them more powerful than regular mobs. The aim in the Apocalyptic Shadow mode is to beat all enemies as quickly as possible to earn a lot of points.

The Apocalyptic Shadow mode gives players some Stellar Jades, Credits, Lost Crystals, Lucent Afterglows, Refined Aethers, and Traveler’s Guides as a completion reward. These items are used to level up characters, purchase Light Cones from the Manifest Shop, and upgrade relics. Stellar Jades can help players buy gacha tickets and get characters from banners. All the rewards within the Apocalyptic Shadow mode reset every few weeks.
