Are We Doomed? Story Quests

There are 6 stages toFortniteChapter 5 Season 4: Absolute Doom’s Part One quest, and here is how players can complete them all:

Quest

How to Complete

Deal damage to opponents at Castle Doom, Doomstadt, or The Raft (0/500)

The easiest way to deal damage to opponents atCastle Doom, Doomstadt, or The Raftis to head to the Raft. The Raft is always highly contested with other players, meaning there are plenty of opportunities to dish out damage. Alternatively, players can head straight to one of these three locations' boss rooms, as the hostile boss fights and Doom Guards will count as damage dealt to opponents.

Investigate the Redline Rig for evidence (0/1)

Heading to Redline Rig is rather straightforward, and once players are here, they will want to stand next to the revealed Pandora’s Box. Standing behind the left side of the box will reveal the fractured mask of Doctor Doom, which players can then interact with to Collect Armor.

Bring Doom’s helmet to Hope (0/1)

Once players complete the Stage 2 quest of interacting and collecting Doctor Doom’s fractured helmet from Redline Rig, they can head to Sandy Steppes and talk to Hope, who will roam the house on the far right of this POI. Talking to Hope gives them the dialogue option to “Deliver Helmet to Hope”.

Eliminate opponents from over 30 meters (0/3)

Players can easily check what distance they are to their opponents by using Left on the D-Pad to mark and tag locations. Once the number reads above 30m, shoot at enemy players to down them, and then shoot again to eliminate them. The best way to eliminate opponents from over 30 meters away is to use War Machine’s Hover Jets, as that will give players a height advantage. Weapon-wise, try andselect an Assault Rifle, preferably with a grip and a scope for better accuracy. Alternatively, this quest can be completed on AI Doom Guards at The Raft, Doomstadt, and Castle Doom.

Find Doom’s Logs at the memorial statue and the Fractured Four (0/2)

The Doom Logs can be obtained in any order, but if players want to survive the match, it’s probably best to land at the Fractured Four. This location is just South of Doomstadt, and East of the gas station, and is noted by the big Fantastic Four logo. The Doom Log is found behind this sign. This landmark also has a chest or two, providing weapons, and a car nearby, allowing players to speed off to the next Doom Log.

The other Doom Log is found at Cynthia von Doom’s memorial statue, which is just East of Rebel Roost, the POI found in the top left of the map. The Doom Log is just left of the statue, and players can collect it to activate Doom’s dialogue and proceed to the next quest.

Collect a control chip by hitting a headshot on Doom’s henchmen (0/1)

The easiest way to get a control chip inFortniteis by heading to The Raft. This location will have patrolling Doom Guardsthat will not be immediately hostile to players. Doomstadt and Castle Doom also have Doom Guards. Players can then aim their gun, preferably a Shotgun, and pull the trigger whilst aiming at the guard’s head. Doing so will see the guard drop a chip that they will then need to collect with Square/X/E.
