On 09/26, players can pick up the bounty from the Recruiter Dispatcher for the Bandit Chief Cistus, the Fercent Zealot, located in the Disgraced Ruins. After accepting the bounty, visit the Informant at the Hushed Honey Inn to gather more information before charting a course onthe Gauntlet Runner. Once at the Disgraced Ruins, you’ll encounter several armored Skeleton enemies, all vulnerable to Strike and Light attacks. Additionally, Bandits throughout the dungeon are weak to Ice and Fire, while the hooded enemies are weak to Pierce and Strike.
Be sure to collect the various chests in the dungeon, though beware ofmimic chests that spawn a Bloodcoin Imitec, which must be defeated to access the contents. At the end of the dungeon, you’ll find a save point before facing the Bandit Chief Cistus.

Bandit Chief Cistusis accompanied by two bandits, one of which is hooded. The protagonist should have theCleric Archetype, as Light skills are essential for the first boss fight and consistent healing. All Bandits can be enticed with theTycoon Archetype’sGold Rush Attack, which may critically hit, providing an additional turn icon. If you have a multi-hitting Light skill, use it to target all three enemies simultaneously; this also grants an extra turn, as the Bandit Chief is weak against Light.
Junah is valuable for providing buffs to allies and debuffs to the boss, which can help shorten the fight.

Homo Sondro can increase its attack and defense by three ranks, so Junah’sDekajais essential for removing all buffs from the boss. Basilio remains a solid choice, so be sure touse the Inherit Skill featureto access additional Strike attacks for your other party members.
Both fights yield significant EXP, and after completing them, players can turn in the quest to receive:
