Players can choose who they want to be inMirthwood, but getting farming equipment is always the first step. Usually, players can find their starting equipment on the farm, but that’s not the case inMirthwood, where players mustfind the tools in The Road to Brightoak quest.
Thankfully, although players need to walk around the town and scour the map to get the farming tools, it won’t cost them a dime, and theycan use the equipment as soon as they get it. It’s highly recommended to first focus on clearing some small trees and small rocks to get wood and stones as they’ll be the first materials that players need in a big batch.
To find the tools inMirthwood’s The Road to Brightoak quest,players must open the boxnorth of Kimberley’s location. The box is waiting near a broken cart, straight east from the farm. Players will get their starting farming tools, which include:

The Road To Brightoakquest inMirthwoodstarts automatically after players first sleep in their new house. Head south from the farm to find a bustling town, thenfind the innkeeperat the Bog and Briar. Speak to Clifford and ask him,Places to trade?
Clifford will direct you to Kimberley, the owner of Northdell Farm, just north of the town.
Run north, slightly northeast to find Kimberley next to her seed stall. Speak to her and choose,I need some tools…To get a hint about where you can get your starter farming equipment. However, before tracking the farming tools, verify to first follow the quest tasks in The Road to Brightoak quest.
Open your journal (J on PC) to check the mission, which requires you to buy three of each onion seeds and pea seeds. Interact with the stall south of Kimberley and buy the corresponding seeds to progress with the quest. Once that’s done, the next step is to find the tools inMirthwood. Head north to find a broken cart with a box next to it. Open the crate andtake all the copper equipment inside.
After you take all the farming tools, The Road to Brightoak quest will be marked as completed, earning you five Renown for your reputation. You’ll also get a new mission to fix your house in the Home Sweet Home quest.
