WhilePhasmophobiais predominantly about having fun with friends and getting scared by crying ghosts crawling on the floor, it also presents plenty of challenges. There are54 Achievements inPhasmophobiafor PC and Xbox players and54 Trophiesfor those on PlayStation.
Many of these can be earned by simply playing the game, such as by completing contracts, spending money, and identifying individual types of ghosts. However, some of the harderPhasmophobiaAchievements require skill and dedication.
No More Training Wheels
Complete Training
Training can be completed at any time and is accessed in the main menu.
Rookie
Complete 10 contracts
Contracts are essentially individual games. The ghost must be correctly identified and at least one player must survive.
Professional
Complete 50 contracts
The ghost must be correctly identified and at least one player must survive.
Boss
Complete 100 contracts
Extra Mile
Complete 50 optional objectives
There are 3 optional objectives during each contract and they can be seen on the board in the truck. They include things like picking up the ghost on the Parabolic Microphone.
Dedicated
Complete 30 daily tasks
Daily tasks can be seen in the main menu and on clipboards in-game at the warehouse.

Scroll through the difficulties, select ‘Challenge Mode’, and make sure to choose the map it mentions. It grants $5000 and XP, and equipment is provided.

Each week, scroll through the difficulties, select ‘Challenge Mode’, and make sure to choose the map it mentions. It grants $5000 and XP, and equipment is provided. This will take 5 weeks.

Reach Prestige I
Players must reach Level 100 to Prestige. Playing on harder difficulties and completing additional objectives as well as daily and weekly tasks will help players level up faster.
II
Reach Prestige II
Players must reach Level 100 to Prestige, so for this, it is effectively Level 200. Playing on harder difficulties and completing additional objectives as well as daily and weekly tasks will help players level up faster.
III
Reach Prestige III
Players must reach Level 100 to Prestige, so for this, it is effectively Level 300. Playing on harder difficulties and completing additional objectives as well as daily and weekly tasks will help players level up faster.

Players simply need to reach Level 16 as all tier one equipment is free.

Players must have reached Level 49 and have earned enough money to buy all the upgrades.

Players must have reached Level 90 and have earned enough money to buy all the upgrades.
Bronze Hunter

The Event Board in the warehouse breaks down these challenges, but players must play on acustom difficulty, in single-player, on the Sunny Meadows map, and complete all objectives, while also getting a photo. ForBronze, the difficulty modifier needs to be at leastx6. High-tier equipment and excellent game knowledge are recommended.
Silver Hunter
Obtain the Silver Apocalypse Trophy
The Event Board in the warehouse breaks down these challenges, but players must play on a custom difficulty, in single-player, on the Sunny Meadows map, and complete all objectives, while also getting a photo. ForSilver, the difficulty modifier needs to be at leastx10. High-tier equipment and excellent game knowledge are recommended.
Gold Hunter
Obtain the Gold Apocalypse Trophy
The Event Board in the warehouse breaks down these challenges, but players must play on a custom difficulty, in single-player, on the Sunny Meadows map, and complete all objectives, while also getting a photo. ForGold, the difficulty modifier needs to be at leastx15. High-tier equipment and excellent game knowledge are recommended. Completing the Gold Trophy will also unlock the Bronze and Silver ones.

Identify & Survive Specific Ghost Achievements/Trophies
There are24 types of ghosts inPhasmophobia, and for each of these, there is an Achievement where players mustcorrectly identify the ghostin their journal, while also surviving the encounter. They are all rewarded upon leaving the location in the van.
Naturally, some luck will be needed to unlock these, as there is only ever one ghost at a time and they are random.
Successfully identify your first Shade and survive
A shy ghost that is reluctant to interact or hunt.
Successfully identify your first Revenant and survive
Ensure you have hiding spots, a crucifix, and incense to survive this dangerous ghost.
Successfully identify your first Spirit and survive
Incense will stop a Spirit from hunting again for quite a while.
Successfully identify your first Banshee and survive
A Banshee chooses one target to focus on and they can be heard singing more often.
Successfully identify your first Hantu and survive
They thrive in the cold and are likely to turn the fuse box off to keep the location cold.
Successfully identify your first Wraith and survive
They float and teleport, meaning they will never leave footprints in salt.
Successfully identify your first Deogen and survive
Deogen can produce a unique heavy breathing response to the Spirit Box, and they always know where players are when hunting.
Successfully identify your first Oni and survive
They love to scare their victims and highly active when people are near.
Successfully identify your first Obake and survive
Obake can leave unique handprints and fingerprints, such as six fingers.
Successfully identify your first Myling and survive
Mylings make lots of sounds but are then quieter while hunting.
Successfully identify your first Poltergeist and survive
Successfully identify your first Yurei and survive
Yurei can drain sanity quickly and will return to the Ghost Room after incense is used.
Successfully identify your first Phantom and survive
Successfully identify your first Thaye and survive
Successfully identify The Twins and survive
The Twins might interact at the same time but in slightly different locations giving themselves away.
Successfully identify your first Jinn and survive
Jinn can’t turn the Fuse Box off, and they are more powerful when it is on.
Successfully identify your first Mare and survive
Mare are more powerful in the dark and so will turn lights off or smash lightbulbs.
Successfully identify your first Raiju and survive
Raiju thrive on electronics and can disrupt them from further away.
Successfully identify your first Yokai and survive
Yokai are attracted to voices and will become more active.
Successfully identify your first Moroi and survive
Moroi can curse a player through the Spirit Box or Parabolic Microphone.
Successfully identify your first Onryo and survive
Fire will prevent the Onryo from hunting, but when the fire goes out it will get more aggressive.
Successfully identify your first Goryo and survive
Goryo can only be seen on D.O.T.S through a Video Camera.
Successfully identify your first Demon and survive
Successfully identify The Mimic and survive
The Mimic will imitate other ghost interactions and will always produce fake Ghost Orbs. Note that ticking off Ghost Orbs will remove the Mimic as a possible ghost in the journal.

Work Experience
Complete your first contract
At least one player must survive and you must correctly identify the ghost.

Witness a Poltergeist ability
After identifying a Poltergeist, grab items such as shoes and plates and make a pilein the Ghost Room. Then wait in the room for the Poltergeist to launch all these items at once.
Escape Artist
Escape a Revenant
The Revenant must have a line of sight on you while hunting, and then you will need to lose that line of sight. Have lots of corners ready to go around, and make sure electrical equipment is turned off.
The Bait
Get killed by a Banshee in multiplayer
This can either happen naturally, or players can purposefully drain their sanity after identifying a Banshee. Easier on harder difficulties.
Doom Slayed
Get killed by a Demon ability within the first minute
Create a custom difficulty with 100% sanity, a Grace Period of 0s, high Ghost Speed and Hunt Duration. Select a small map and run in straight away. Restart the game if you haven’t died after 1 minute.
