Brittle Plating can be crafted on a Workbench by combining materials inGrounded 2. The first and easy method is to combine Sap and Grub Hide to create the it. The second one is by gathering Brittle Marble Shards and using them to create the Brittle Plating.
It’s essential to get some Brittle Plating as you willneed it to upgrade armor and other equipmentusing the Smithing Station. As players start out, the enemies are manageable but will become incredibly hard later on once you are exploring deep into the park. So, leveling up weapons and armor is essential to survive longer.
How To Get Brittle Marble Shard In Grounded 2
Brittle Marble Shard is obtained after destroying a Brittle Marble rock inGrounded 2. Unlike most rocks, Marbles are smooth and slightly shiny.
They’re mostly found underground, deep inside caves where there are a lot of Red Soldier Ants, Spiders,and sometimes Cockroaches, but some are also available on the surface. If you’re adventurous enough, there are lots of Whetstones and Marbles around the Fire Pit, but the best early game location has to be just west of the Ranger Outpost: Snackbar.
There’s an underground cave that leads to the closed side of the outpost, and players can get Brittle Marble Shards there. Additionally, players can get some Marbles in the cave they enter during the Egg Hunt main quest when getting a Red Ant Soldier to incubate.
Luckily, the Brittle Marblerequires only one Omni Tool upgrade. To get the Tier I Omni Hammer, gather two Pebblets, one Sap, and 350 Raw Science.Pebbletsare the small rocks found literally all over the park, so you can’t miss them.Sapis the round, orange goop stuck on the sides of tree roots and branches. If players are struggling to gather some Sap, you can always destroy an Acorn after the upgrade to craft a Sap Catcher.
Lastly,Raw Scienceis gathered in so many ways as you need it to upgrade anything and unlock more recipes at the Ranger Station. Once all the preparation is complete and the hammer is upgraded, you can destroy all the Brittle Marbles rocks as well as some Brittle Quartzite.
