The anticipated return to Verdansk has had a lasting impact onWarzone, drawing players back to experience the nostalgic map during the game’s somewhat controversial integration withBlack Ops 6. Now thatWarzonehas entered its fourth season, even more content has debuted,including unique modes and fan-favorite weapons.
One of the major additions in Season 4 is the introduction of Care Packages. When opened, these provide players with a variety of loot items and an increased chance of receiving the Hand Cannon Scorestreak or the Door Barricade Field Upgrade. However, Care Packages appear to be increasingly rare. For players looking to complete a specific challenge or get the Scorestreak in Battle Royale, here arethe best methods for obtaining Care Packages inWarzone.
Method #1: Open Supply Crates (Battle Royale, Plunder, Resurgence)
Unlike Loadout Drop Markers and other ScorestreaksinWarzone, Care Packages cannot be purchased through the Buy Station, making them trickier to find for players looking to complete a challenge related to them. Instead, players will have to rely on a bit of RNG to locate them.
To get Care Packages inWarzone, players will simply need to belucky enough to find them in Supply Crates, with Legendary Supply Crates offering the highest chance of dropping them. For Battle Royale and Resurgence players, focus on heading into areas that contain increased numbers of Legendary Supply Crates, such as High Value Loot Zones (POIs marked in orange on the map).
Another method players can try isheading into Plunder and purchasingthe Specialist Packagefrom the Buy Station. Reportedly, this methodgrants access to the Loot Master Perk(only available in Resurgence and Plunder), which increases the player’s chance of finding Killstreaks from Supply Crates.
Method #2: Play Havoc Royale
For players looking to get a hold of Supply Crates quickly,specifically for the CODtoons Eventto complete the “Deploy a Care Package Killstreak 15 times” challenge,playing Havoc Royale is the best method.Havoc Royale is available only for the remainder of Season 4, but it’s currently the most efficient way to farm Care Packages fast.
What players will want to look out for isthe Unregulated Airspace multiplier.When this is active, all Supply Crates yield significantly more Killstreaks when opened, dramatically increasing the chances of obtaining Care Packages. Some players have reportedgetting upwards of 10 Care Packages per gameusing this method. However, if you don’t get the Unregulated Airspace multiplier, simply load into another match until it appears.
