Gwenpool has brought mayhem and fourth-wall-breaking charm to theFortniteBattle Royale island thanks to her debut in Chapter 5 Season 4: Absolute Doom. Players don’t just have to see Gwenpool in their lockers thanks toFortnite’s Chapter 5 Season 4 Battle Pass, or based on who eliminates them and returns them to the lobby, as players can actually help Gwenpool finish her mission at The Raft inFortnite.
Gwenpool lurks in a hidden area on theFortniteBattle Royale map, and players can interact with her to receive a few unique rewards that won’t show up anywhere else. Be warned, these missions can be rather tricky, especially when one considers Gwenpool’s popularity, and the hotspots she wants players to land at.
How to Find Gwenpool in Fortnite
Gwenpool is located within a special cell in The Raft.Gwenpool can be found in the bottom right area of The Raft in her own unique holding cell. Gwenpool’s cell is adorned with pink and white paint. Simply interacting with the door will see players talk to Gwenpool. When speaking to Gwenpool, players can click Continue through her dialogue until they receive a Found Quest, which provides them with their first task.
Gwenpool’s Found Quest comes in 3 parts, but players need to be aware that if they are eliminated before they complete a Part, they will be forced to return to the lobby and drop from the Battle Bus to do it again. Luckily, there are checkpoints at each part, so if players are eliminated on Part Three, they do not have to repeat Part One and Part Two, but they will have to return to Gwenpool to accept Part Three.
Recover an ID Chip from a Henchman
Part one of Gwenpool’s quest is activated once players interact with her holding cell. The first found quest has playersrecover an ID chip from a Henchman and deliver it to Gwenpool. Completing this step is pretty easy, as players will need tohead into The Raftonce the mission has been accepted, and then eliminate one of the Doom Henchmen that walk around. These enemies are rather weak, so down them with a shotgun or an SMG and then eliminate them. After, they will drop a special ID Chip that can be picked up by interacting with it. Players then need to go back to Gwenpool and give her the ID Chip. If players die before they are able to give Gwenpool the ID Chip, they will have to do it again.
Once this step has been completed, Gwenpool will shoo the player away, and tell them to come back in the next match.
Enter a Passphrase into a Computer at The Raft
Once players are in a new match after completing Part One, they can return to Gwenpool’s location and start Gwenpool’s Mission - Part Two. This part of the mission requires players toenter the passphrase “CYNTHIA” on a computer at The Raft. The computer terminal is found in the upper-right part of The Raft, and it has a distinct glow. Players need to interact with it to insert a flash drive, where they then have three options to choose from. Theonly passphrase players need to input is Cynthia. Doing so will provide players with a flash drive that they can then return to Gwenpool’s prison cell. Again, if players die on any step from Part Two, they will need to head back to her to start Part Two from the start of their next match.
Once the Flash Drive has been given to Gwenpool, she will once again tell players to speak with her in their next match.
Steal 3 Electronic Parts from Crates at The Raft
After Part Two has been completed, players can jump into a new match where they will once again meet Gwenpool at her prison cell. The final part of the quest requires players tosteal electronic parts from crates at The Raft and deliver them to Gwenpool. There are three crates that players have to acquire, and each of them requires players to interact with them and then pick up the contents from within. Each player has their own unique crate, so players do not need to worry about allies and enemies stealing their crates.
Once all crates have been acquired, head back to Gwenpool to hand them to her. This will complete all of Gwenpool’s Secret Mission quests, where players are free to play Battle Royale without worrying about running errands for Gwenpool.
Gwenpool’s Mission Rewards
Gwenpool’s Mission inFortniteprovides players with 15,000 XP per partcompleted. With three parts to complete, players can earn up to 45,000 XP. Once playerscomplete all three parts of Gwenpool’s Mission, they will receive a level-up token, which will immediately give them 80,000 XP.
How to Easily Complete Gwenpool’s Mission
The Raft is a hot spot for players to land at. It’s often close to the Battle Bus route, and it has an assortment of great weapons and loot,as well as Emma Frost as a boss fight, who holds a decent Mythic AR and Medallion that reveals enemy locations. As such, players might have a hard time dropping at Gwenpool whilst dealing with multiple enemies. The easiest way to counter enemy players whilst doing this quest is to land in The Raft, somewhere safe. Try and acquire shield potions and confident weapons for defense, and then proceed to Gwenpool’s location to quickly accept the quest. Players will really want to rush the objectives rather than wait around, as the longer they take, the more likely it is that their enemies have achieved a great pool of loot and the shields they need to survive.
With a game as competitive asFortnite’s Battle Royale, it’s okay to be sent back to the lobby a few times. Players need to be patient with themselves as they try to get through the three parts of the Gwenpool quest. Another easy tactic may be to hop into Squads on Fill so that players can grab themselves a few allies to act as distractions whilst they complete the quest.
