How Does the Might Bell Work?
Is It Worth Equipping?
The Might Bell does exactly what its in-game description says it does: It will ring when there’s a nearby Might Crystal. While this Accessory is equipped, a Might Bell icon will appear in the bottom-right corner of the screen next to the minimap. The bell will radiate a stronger “ripple” and music notes when you’re closer to the crystal.
In some cases, you’ll notice the Might Bell ringing at its loudest when you’re near an NPC. This means that they have aquest with a Might Crystal(s) as a reward, or the Might Crystal is locked behind a minigame (ex: Flag Race at Hyrule Ranch).
There are a total of150 Might CrystalsinEchoes of Wisdom, and a small percentage of these are earned from clearing giant rifts (Suthorn Ruins) and optional rifts (ex:Stilled Lake Hylia). The remaining crystals can be found hidden around Hyrule or, as mentioned, through side quests and minigames. Once you’ve collected all Might Crystals or enough crystals to fully upgrade Swordfigher Mode, there’s no reason to have the Might Bell equipped.
