Stamina management is one of the things thatSoulslikegames are known for, and inWuchang: Fallen Feathers, it works almost exactly like how you would expect it to be. Sprinting, fighting, and dodging all have stamina costs, and if you want to keep doing those, you’ll need to pace your appropriately.

However, there’s one thing that setsWuchang: Fallen Feathersapart from most of the games in its genre — instead of putting points in individual skills, players will need to invest skill points into specific nodes of the Impetus Repository, the game’s version of a skill tree. This drastically affects how Stamina is gained, and if you’re wondering how to keep Wuchang going during a fight, here’s what you need to do.

Increasing Stamina in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers

Stamina is gained byunlocking Endurance nodes in the Impetus Repository. Unfortunately, since the Repository is a veritable skill tree with many branching paths, this means that you won’t be able to dump all of your skill points into getting Endurance — in order to get as much stamina as possible, you’ll need toplan a path that will lead you to Endurance nodes.

The Impetus Repository has branches dedicated to each of the game’s weapon types as well as a general skills path that includes many quality-of-life passives. This general skills path also has quite a few Endurance nodes that players can easily unlock early on. Some of thebest skills in the gamecan be found here.

The Player Using the Classic Perspective

Each of the weapon branches in the Impetus Repository should also have several Endurance nodes in them. If you want more stamina, you’ll want to make a beeline for these. Some weapons may have more Endurance nodes than others, and should you ever want to respec, you can do so at anytime free of charge, so long as you’re at a Shrine.

There are major and minor stat nodes scattered throughout the Impetus Repository.

Should You Raise Stamina in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers?

As inmostSoulslikegames, raising your stamina inWuchang: Fallen Feathersis a good way to increase your effectiveness in combat. More stamina means you can dodge and attack more without exhausting yourself. However, it’s important to note thatWeapon and Discipline Skills do not consume stamina.

Clever players can weave their offensive skills between normal attacks to extend their combos without using any additional stamina. What this means is while having extra max stamina is good, you ultimately won’t need much of it depending on your playstyle.
