The Forestpits players against nature as you’ll have to hunt, gather, and survive on an island. But mother nature isn’t your only enemy, as you’ll soon learn that the Island is filled with Cannibals and Mutants. Whether you’re sitting in your base or out exploring the wilds, you’ll inevitably have to fight them on your quest for survival.

Thankfully, the game has plenty of weapons that players can use to protect themselves. But the best of the bunch, at least when it comes to ranged options, is the Bow. However, getting your hands on the Crafted Bow or Modern Bow isn’t enough; you’ll also have to craft Arrows to use it. How to Use Arrows in The Forest

Players can use Arrows as ammunition for the Crafted or Modern Bow. They are classified as Projectile Weapons in the game. But unlikeSticks commonly found in your surroundings, Arrows can’t be used as standalone weapons. That makes it pretty much useless unless you already have a Crafted Bow in your Inventory.

However, as you progress through the game, you’ll eventually run into mutants that can take a big chunk of your HP with one attack. Having Arrows and Crafted Bow in your Inventory will allow you to take on these enemies from a distance or higher ground. You can also use Arrows to hunt animals.

How to Store Arrows in The Forest

Crafting Arrows is pretty straightforward, but there’s a limit to how much of it you can carry in your backpack. Since it can run out quickly, you’ll always want to carry as many Arrows as possible, especially if you’re making a trip to one of the hanging caves inThe Forest. You’ll also want to have a stock of Arrows ready for use in your base to defend against cannibal and mutant attacks that become more frequent as the game progresses.

You’ll need to craft an Arrow Basket using 25 sticks to store Arrows in your base. To increase the carrying capacity of Arrows in your backpack from 30 to 50, you’ll want to craft aQuiver using Rabbit Fur and Rope.

As you can see, the resource requirement for crafting Arrows isn’t too complex inThe Forest. Most of the stuff you’ll need to make them can be found in the environment when you’re out exploring.
