While exploring the lands of Thedas, you will stumble upon many valuable items through opening chests or via merchants inDragon Age: The Veilguard. While the majority are low-quality items and can only sell for a few gold coins, players can take advantage of them to get more Strength points in their desired Faction.
Factions are like guilds and each one has its own merchant that can be leveled up by offering some materials andStrength points inDragon Age: The Veilguard. You won’t gain access to all Factions immediately as it’s long progress before all locations in Thedas are available.
How To Sell Items In Dragon Age: The Veilguard
Players must first locate a merchant tosell items inDragon Age: The Veilguard. Many merchants are scattered around the world of Thedas, but only specific ones have the option to buy valuables from players. Different locations are marked on the Map, such as Crossroads, Arlathan, and Treviso, and some of them possess a Faction merchant that sells special items, equipment, and appearances. And it so happens thatyou can only sell items at a Faction merchant’s storeinDragon Age: The Veilguard.
To differentiate between a normal and a Faction merchant, the former only offers players items to purchase, mostly valuable items. At the same time, the latter has the option to sell materials as well as a Faction strength menu. When you completemain quests inDragon Age: The Veilguardor side ones similar to companion quests, you will earn Faction Strength that is used to level up the rank of the Faction merchant. Doing this increases Rook’s reputation among the desired Faction and unlocks some new items in the store.
Where To Get Valuable Items In Dragon Age: The Veilguard
There are many types ofvaluable items inDragon Age: The Veilguardand each can be sold for a certain price and reward some Strength points for the desired Faction. Keep in mind that selling items to a specific Faction will give you reputation points for this Faction alone.
Valuable items can be found in many rarities, such as common, uncommon, rare, unique, and legendary. There is no clear sign of which merchant sells which type of valuables, so you need to explore and visit each shop. Other than reputation, players can get lots of gold by selling valuable items. Sadly, equipment or weapons cannot be sold.
