The showcase will be broadcast on theYouTube channels of Nintendo of Americaand the company’s other regional branches, including those in Australia, Spain, Japan, and the United Kingdom. Where to Watch Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase

The July 31 broadcast is planned to run for approximately 25 minutes, with a Nintendo representative confirming as much in the lead-up to the event. After the livestream concludes, a video-on-demand version will remain available on YouTube, one for each channel that will be hosting the livestream itself. Nintendo typically does not disclose showcase lineups in advance, and this event is no exception. However, with the broadcast labeled a Partner Showcase, it is guaranteed to be exclusively focused onthird-party games for the Switch 2and its predecessor.

The event’s ratio of cross-gen and Switch 2 games may lean toward the latter, though it is still expected to include numerous titles available on the previous-generation console. The Switch 2 is less than two months old, whereas its predecessor—having sold over 152 million units as of early 2025—is nearing the title of the best-selling console of all time. As a result, third-party publishers are unlikely to move on from the platform in the near future. On the contrary, its vast install base is expected to keep it relevant for years, withNintendo Directs likely to keep featuring the original Switch for the foreseeable future.

July 31 Nintendo Direct Start Times

While the upcoming showcase’s lineup is unknown, some recent rumors suggest at least one Atlus game could make an appearance during the broadcast. BothPersona 3 ReloadandMetaphor: ReFantaziowere previously rumored to be coming to the Switch 2, but neither have been announced yet. Ubisoft has recently also hinted at working on a Switch 2 port ofAssassin’s Creed Shadows, which is another potential candidate for appearing during the 25-minute showcase. Most of the games featured in the upcoming Partner Direct—the first such broadcast since late August 2024—are likely to hit the market before the end of 2025.
