The anime adaptation ofI Have a Crush at Workwas announced in July 2024. Additionally, it was confirmed that Blade would be producing the anime. While the studio has only done a few independent anime projects, it has collaborated on multiple titles, includingIwa-Kakeru! -Sport Climbing Girls, Level 1 Demon LordandOne Room Hero, and Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out!.

Naoko Takeichi is directing the anime. She hasworked onJoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, Hunter x Hunter, andIs It Wrong to attempt to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?. Masahiro Yokotani is in charge of the scripts. He has been involved inBakumatsu, World Trigger, Black Butler, etcetera. Lastly, Mina Ōsawa is responsible for the character designs.
