Sandfall developed the game over approximately five years, and the project involved a small team of around 30 developers, with additional support from subcontractors and voice actors such as Jennifer English—recognized for her performances inBaldur’s Gate 3—and the popularDaredevilactor Charlie Cox, among others. While the game is a must-play for any RPG fan, Charlie Cox hadn’t played it—even after portraying such a crucial character in the story. But now, Cox seems to have changed his mind.
During a recent Q&A session at GalaxyCon,Clair Obscur’s Gustaveactor revealed to fans that he wants to play the game—but “I need to get a console first,” he admitted. He also mentioned how amazed he was by the game’s visuals, recalling his time at the studio, where he’d think, “This is beautiful.” He added how surprised he was by how far games have come graphically sinceSuper Mario 64, because that’s “probably the last computer game I played,” he confessed.
