Reddit user Maxkhor95 recently shared anOverwatch 2clip from Hollywood in which they’re defending the capture point as time runs out. The video begins with two Reinhardts charging at each other, resulting in a double stun. The player then defeats the enemy Reinhardt with two standard attacks, and one Fire Strike before moving on to a Brigitte using Rally. Brigitte knocks Reinhardt back with Shield Bash and swings her flail before the Tank Charges her into a wall. Reinhardt then uses Earthshatter on an Ana and is quickly Life Gripped by Lifeweaver who’s been fending off a Hanzo.TheOverwatch 2Damage herois quickly defeated, and the clip ends with Reinhardt emoting after charging the final enemy on the point for a victory.

Although the match time ran out in the early moments of Maxkhor95’s clip, attacking players kept the overtime clock going by staying on the capture point. BecauseOverwatch 2’s Reinhardtis on fire after getting only one kill in the video, they likely racked up some eliminations before it began. Should the five players have been successful in fending off the three defending players, they would have initiated the payload escort portion of the match. Given that the defenders were successful, this match took just over five minutes opposed to the 15 minutes it may have taken to escort the payload. While the three players were at a disadvantage against five enemies, their coordination and success in playing their roles resulted in this impressive victory.
AsBlizzard continues to updateOverwatch 2, the heroes in this clip may be nerfed or buffed in a future patch. Because character balancing remains a priority, this victory could have been a loss if the underlying stats were just slightly different.
