Jujutsu Kaisencontinues with great intensity every week, and fans are incrediblyexcited to see how the King of Curses, the biggest threat in the entire series, is finally dealt with. As things stand, the manga has only gotten more exciting, with the main character taking a central role in this arc now, but, as this Fight continues and gets closer to its conclusion, questions start arising in the minds of the readers about when and how this arc will wrap up.
On top of that, when it does wrap up, what exactly is going to happen toJujutsu Kaisen? How close is the end of the manga really? All these questions have played in the minds of the fans for the vast majority of the year, and their answers might not be all that difficult to understand.
Jujutsu Kaisen’s Final Arc Has Officially Reached Its Climax
Yuji Vs Sukuna Rages On In The Manga
The very first thing that fans need to know is thatJujutsu Kaisenis certainly ending soon enough. The manga is going to wrap up soon, and this is because it is currently in the Final Arc. Arcs inJujutsu Kaisenare not known to be too long. Of course, the Culling Game arc was certainly the longest that the story had,and Shinjuku Showdown might go on to surpass it. However, it still isn’t long enough, and it is apparent that JJK is going to end at some point in 2024. That is also what the author mentioned previously, when questioned about when the story is going to conclude. As things stand, JJK is set to end at some point later this year.
In time, your body will learn Sukuna’s technique! – Gojo Satoru
While all that is said by the author, fans have their doubts about whether this is true or not. Previously, Gege mentioned that he wanted to end the manga in 2023, but as fans know, that did not come to pass. Given how the current events of the manga are shaping up, fans have their doubts about whether the story will actually get to wrap up in 2024 or not. Of course, only the author can answer these questions, but fans can deduce when the story will end based on the ongoing events of the story.
Yuji Vs Sukuna And The Current State Of Things
Yuji Has Put Up A Fantastic Performance Against The King Of Curses
The Shinjuku Showdown Arc has been intense for the fans to witness. The arc kickstarted with the battle of Gojo and Sukuna, and it was certainly special in more ways than one. The fight between these two monsters was absolutely sensational, and it certainly did last over a significant number of chapters. At the end of things, however, Gojo lost and ended up losing his life in the process as well. This was the trigger for the younger generation of sorcerers to join in and launch a raid versus Ryomen Sukuna. The likes of Yuji, Maki, Yuta, Higuruma, and many others took part in this fight and went on to make it as exciting as it was.
This segment of the story was absolutely sensational, and it is safe to say that fans enjoyed it from start to finish. However, it is now starting to wrap up and this is clearly based on the current state of things. More recently, fans saw Yuta take control of Gojo’s body and fight against Sukuna inside his domain. While Yuta did great, he is out of the battle now, officially. Angel is also out, as is Todo, which means that Yuji is the last man standing on the battlefield. Yuji is going to be the one to defeat Sukuna anyway, which means that the final segment of this exciting raid on Sukuna has already started. To make things even more exciting, fans also know that Yuji has now tapped into his domain expansion.
After Awakening two cursed techniques, Yuji now has a domain expansion as well, which means that he has mastered the Pinnacle of Jujutsu Sorcery. It is now his technique versus Sukuna, and this could very well spell the end of the entire series, which is what the fans should keep their eye on.
The Battle between Yuji and Sukuna inside the domain has already started, and it shouldn’t be long before the King of curses is dealt with. One way or another, this fight is coming to an end, and with that, the arc will likely edge closer to its end as well. However, there are many other semantics that need to be taken into consideration to accurately predict when JJK will end. The merger is one of the biggest problems in the story right now, and the author certainly needs to figure out the solution to it.
How Close Is The End Of Jujutsu Kaisen?
Jujutsu Kaisen Might End In December
Taking everything into consideration, fans can say that Jujutsu Kaisen can very well end later this year. This is becausethe Shinjuku Showdown Arc appears to be in its climax, with Yuji being the last man standing against Sukuna. He has already declared that he has the capability of killing Sukuna, which means that he will follow through on it and defeat him. When Yuji and Sukuna’s battle is over, which should be soon enough, The series will truly start to wrap up. However, there is only one obstacle in the plot, and that is the merger, as discussed earlier.
When Yuji defeats Sukuna, it is possible that the king of curses will latch on to whatever power he has left, and given that Kenjaku entrusted him with the key to the merger, he is likely going to trigger it. When that happens, the very final segment ofJujutsu Kaisenis likely to begin, which will then kickstart the very final battle in the story.
Beneath the sparks of black…Yuji Itadori awakens!
For this segment of the story, fans could even seethe likes of Megumi return. If that happens, then, Yuji, Megumi, and just about any sorcerer who can move can join the battle and will be very exciting to witness. How this fight will be dealt with and how long it will go on for is something that only the author can answer. However, what fans need to know is that it can be successfully ended in 2024. That said, if the series does keep going on multiple breaks, then,JJKcan very well head into 2025 as well.
Regardless, even if that does happen, fans need to keep in mind that the story is officially wrapping up and that as soonas the battle with Sukuna is doneand the merger is dealt with, the story is going to end. That is what the author intends to do and has made clear on many occasions. After My Hero Academia, yet another manga is leaving Jump soon.
Jujutsu Kaisen is available to read via Viz Media. The series can be read by the fans officially and for free on the Shonen Jump and the Manga Plus app. The release date for the next chapter of JJK, Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 266, is set to be June 25, 2025.
