A Third Season Of The Anime Is On The Cards

When the second season ended, MAPPA did not wait for long to announce that the studio was working on a third season.
While a release date has not yet been confirmed, late 2025 seems like a realistic release window. MAPPA does not boast a healthy working schedule, so fans shouldn’t be surprised ifthe studio somehow managesto push the release to early 2025 or mid-2025.

Itadori Yuji Must Defend Himself From His Yuta
The third season of Jujutsu Kaisen will likely adapt the Itadori Extermination Arc, the Perfect Preparation arc, and the Culling Game arc. The first of these will follow theaftermath of the Shibuya Incident arc. After Gojo Satoru was sealed away, the higher-ups at Jujutsu High got the license to do whatever they wanted. They had always opposed the idea of Itadori Yuji being used as a weapon against the curses. With Satoru out of the way, they will want toeliminate Yuji at all costs. The person they are going to use to end Yuji’s life is Yuta Okkutsu. Fans who haven’twatchedJujutsu Kaisen 0will not befamiliar with Yuta. He is a talented fighter who managed to harness the power of Rika, aspecial-grade cursed spirit.

Given the fact that Yuta has complete control over Rika, Itadori Yuji will be in big trouble. There is no way that he can take on Yuta in his current state and win. The best option for Yuji would be toprove his innocence to Yutaand have others vouch for him. Once the business with Yuta is over, Yuji can focus on helping Gojo Satoru get out of the prison realm. Until Satoru is liberated, the cursed spirits will have a distinct advantage.
Whatever happens next, one thing is for certain: there will bemany amazing fights, meaning fans can sit back and enjoy them. There is no need to be worried about the quality of animation,as MAPPA is one of the best studios in the world, and they have already done a splendid job of bringing the manga to life. It will be interesting to see what adversaries Yuji fights in the third season.
But the big question on everyone’s mind is:will Goju Satoru return to the fray?The white-haired sorcerer has been responsible for increasing the popularity of the show drastically. If he does not return in season 3, there will be more pressure on the other characters to deliver. Luckily, there is no shortage of good characters inJujutsu Kaisen. They can mostly fill the gap if given the proper chance. Also, the absence of Gojo Satoru will allow the new generation of sorcerers to prove their combative prowess.
