Marvel Rivalsfan and Reddit user, MarvelousStopMotions, has once again attracted the interest of the game’s community, courtesy of their new stop-motion clips featuring The Fantastic Four. Being a popular superhero team, The Fantastic Four was added toMarvel Rivalsin early 2025 after much anticipation.
Back in January, Mr Fantastic and Invisible Woman joined the roster when thefirst season ofMarvel Rivalskicked off. The next month saw the inclusion of The Human Torch and The Thing to finally complete The Fantastic Four lineup in the game. With the addition of these heroes came a bunch of new abilities, team-ups, and more for players to check out. Recently, one talentedMarvel Rivalsenthusiast gave a tribute to these characters in their own unique way and garnered a warm reception from other players in the process.
In a new Reddit post, MarvelousStopMotions shared their stop-motion clips depicting the MVP screens for Mr Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Human Torch, and The Thing inMarvel Rivals. Each of the four videos show a specific member of Marvel’s first family in action in their iconic blue attire. The user revealed that the combined effort took them a total of 44 hours. The behind-the-scenes work involved in this stop-motion project is available ontheir YouTube channel. In the comments, several otherMarvel Rivalsplayersapplauded the effort put in, with one user saying, “Amazing work! This is genuinely one of the best pieces of art I’ve seen in this subreddit.”
Marvel Rivals Player Gives Fantastic Four’s MVP Animations a Stop-Motion Portrayal
Notably, this instance marked MarvelousStopMotions’s second foray intotransformingMarvel RivalsMVP animations into stop-motion videos. A few months prior, the skilled artist had given the same treatment to other characters of the hero shooter title, including Spider-Man, Iron Man, Captain America, The Hulk, and Moon Knight. What’s interesting here is that the user mentioned it took them 25 hours in total for these characters. In other words, the new stop-motion project apparently took almost 20 hours longer despite featuring one fewer character than the last time. Taking a guess, this might have to do with Mr Fantastic and Human Torch’s MVP screens, which appear to be slightly more challenging to recreate.
Earlier in July, theMVP animation aspect inMarvel Rivalsgot a major changewith the launch of Season 3: The Abyss Awakens. Following the update, MVP animations are no longer tied to their respective skins, enabling players to mix and match as per their liking. This afforded more room for customization forMarvel Rivalsplayers, who had been asking for this particular tweak for a considerable time.
