NetEase recently revealed the full content roadmap forMarvel Rivals' Season 3.5, with players having new heroes, modes, costumes, and maps to look forward to before the launch of Season 4.
Marvel Rivals' Season 3.5 Roadmap Paints an Exciting Picture of Things To Come
Fans will get their hands on some game-changing content right from the very outset of Season 3.5’s launch on August 8, withBlade being addedMarvel Rivalsas a brand-new Duelist character. From what NetEase has already revealed about him, Blade will be a close-quarters menace thanks to his simultaneous use of swords and pistols. It remains to be seen how the hero might impact the overall balance and meta ofMarvel Rivals. Blade’s launch on August 8 will be accompanied by his Polarity Edge costume.
A range of balance changes will also be coming toMarvel Rivalswith Season 3.5, with many Tanks receiving buffs, as well as other heroes like Spider-Man and Iron Fist.
The Queen’s Codex event is also being added from the outset of Season 3.5. Among other things, The Queen’s Codex event will offer rewards in the way of skins for Black Widow, The Thing, and Hela, offering a good blend of incentives for players to engage with the event. To top things off, August 22 will see the release of Extrembiote Armor costume for Iron Man.
The Latter Stages of Marvel Rivals' Season 3.5 Will Be Quiet By Comparison
Things are expected to simmer down following August 22’s deluge of content, with costumes being the only confirmed subsequent additions for Season 3.5. August 29 will see the release of the Phoenix Chaoscostume for Scarlet Witch, while Peni Parker will receive the Wasteland Mech costume on September 5. The roadmap also states that Season 3.5 ofMarvel Rivalsis set to end on September 12, with Season 4 being expected to follow very closely.
According to leaks,Season 4 ofMarvel Rivalswill allegedly be centered around K’un-Lun, although this is yet to be confirmed in any official capacity. Regardless, Season 3.5 seems poised to continue an interesting and jam-packed overall season forMarvel Rivals, with a new event tied to a new hero, map, mode, and new costumes seeming like a great way to cap off Season 3 with a memorable bang.
