My Hero Academiaended around a year ago in the manga, and fans have been feeling its loss ever since. TheMHAseries concluded its most ambitious arc, called the Final War Arc, and after that, Deku and his friends went on to graduate.
Deku lost his Quirk after becoming the savior of the world, and this was, unfortunately, a reason for him not to reach the very top. Whereas he could easily have reached All Might’s level, he was not given the tools to achieve that in the end. All Might’s legacy still remained largely untouched, but the truth is that he would’ve actually easily beensurpassed by Izuku Midoriya.
All Might Was The Strongest In His Prime
When it comes to the incredible strength of All Might, fans know very well that he was an absolute monster. All Might was the only one of the One For All vestiges before Izuku Midoriya who went on to face the full threat of All For One and actually succeed in holding him off. He fought All For One and went on to defeat him, which is a true testament to his incredible power. All Might went on to become the Symbol of Peace, and someone that the whole world looked up to.

It cannot be denied that he reached a very high level of strength, but after he received a deadly injury in the fight against All For One, he started losing his power and had to look for a successor, which is where Izuku Midoriya came in. Deku becamea worthy successor of All Might, but the power that he was given wasn’t easy to wield. Still, little by little, Deku ended up training his body to wield the One For All better, and eventually, he actually mastered it to a great degree.
Deku Could’ve Been Even Stronger At His Max Power
Deku Only Used 45% Of One For All
A case can alreadybe made for Deku being as impressive as Prime All Might. However, the fact is that potentially, Deku actually dwarfs All Might in terms of power. Unlike Deku, All Might never had access to any vestige, while Deku had Danger Sense, Blackwhip, Gearshift, Smokescreen, Float, and Fa Jin at his disposal. He could even combine these powers brilliantly and create unique abilities that nobody could counter.

But, what’s most significant is thatDeku only ever mastered 45% of One For All. With 45% he reached peaks similar to Prime All Might, and made up for his lack of control with quirk combinations to create abilities like Faux One For All 100%. In fact, he could even go beyond 100%, which, as fans know, makes him even more versatile.
Deku Wasn’t Allowed To Hit Full Potential
In every single way, Deku was on the road to becoming a Hero so powerful that even All Might and All For One together couldn’t stand up to him. Unfortunately, he only had the quirk for a short time and lost it before he reached 100%. Technically, however, Deku was already destined to be much stronger than All Might.
The My Hero Academia manga was wrapped up by the mangaka, Horikoshi, in 2024. The story features 430 chapters for fans to read. All these chapters can be found onManga Plus, as the story used to be serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump when it was still ongoing.
When it comes to the anime, this series is still awaiting its final season, which will be released later this year. The series can be watched on Crunchyroll.
