Summary
The blog covering the second part ofNightingale’sRealms Rebuilt update has been released, giving players a glimpse at the new campaign coming to the survival game. Realms Rebuilt is the largest content update for the title since it launched in Early Access at the beginning of 2024. Focusing on jumping to different worlds to gather resources,Nightingalecombines crafting and story-driven exploration with survival elements.
Part One of the new content coming inNightingaleRealms Rebuiltwas revealed earlier in August. Tweaks to structure limits, new weapons, and an overhauled progression system were detailed in the accompanying blog post. While other updates have added new content to the game, Realms Rebuilt is set to revamp primary game mechanics as well as introduce multiple new features.
Thesecond part of the Realms Rebuilt revealfocuses on the realms themselves, an important part of theNightingalegame experience. More variety is coming to the title with a new campaign that introduces more Realm Cards that access new Storied Realms. These Storied Realms are handcrafted and will be the main worlds players explore for story quests. This addresses a primary request among theNightingalecommunity to add more variationto the game.
New Realms, Campaign coming in Realms Rebuilt Update for Nightingale
Puck will still walk characters through the new questline. New worlds include Sylvan’s Cradle and Welkin’s Reach, each with their own designs. Welkin’s Reach is a desert biome filled with floating rocks and destroyed dirigibles. Sylvan’s Cradle is a corrupted forest with massive statues, windmills, and abandoned towns. Each Storied Realm can be set as a Respite point, no longer limitingNightingaleplayers to their chosen Abeyance Realmwhen looking to revive.
With the new realms come new bosses, Sites of Power, and Points of Interest. Sites of Power are now dungeons and will replace the previous versions. After venturing through the dungeon, players will find themselves in a boss arena. Each site has its own environment and unique design, instead of being the same throughout the realms. Additionally, more POIs, like theBastille of Intellect inNightingale, will be added. Along with the increase in current POIs, a new type known as a Bound Heart, which resembles a corrupted pillar with a central core, can be found while exploring.
A firm release date for Realms Rebuilt still hasn’t been confirmed. More information on the update, including other features that are included, is expected to be discussed in the next Dev Update. The team also notes they will be attending Gamescom with a sneak peek at upcoming content. The day and timeNightingalewill be shown wasn’t included.
