The Pokemon Company has announced a new wave ofPokemonplush merchandise, specifically for fans of the franchise’s trading card game. The trading card game, originally licensed toMagic: The Gathering’s Wizards of the Coast, was a late 90s phenomenon, releasing eight expansion sets between 1998 and 2003. ThePokemontabletop game has since spawnedPokemon TCG OnlineandPokemon TCG Pocket, as digital alternatives.

Announced onPokemon’s Japan website, a lineup of Plush Card Stands, Plush Card Multi Bands, and Mascot Coin Holders was unveiled, featuring Pikachu, Eevee, and Mew. Available now to buy atThe Pokemon Center, the stands allow fans of theTCGto display their favorite cards, and the coin holders can be attached to backpacks. Finally, the multi bands are designed to organize decks, fix damaged counter cases, and tidy play mats. The announcement comes on the heels of thelife-sized Eeveelution plushes becoming available for pre-order, indicating that demand for soft and cuddlyPokemonmerchandise is at an all-time high.
