Dawn of Defiance Launches in Early Access
The story ofDawn of Defiancepits players against the Gods of Greek mythologyas they try to survive the land they were sent to. While it’s not the first time a human has to face off against a god in Greek stories, this is a time when players get to control the outcome. Players will need to make offerings at altars, defile shrines, and defeat experienced Greek Captains to reach the god that’s meddled in their life.
Each save game can have the difficulty settings adjusted. There are solo options as well asfour person multiplayerinDawn of Defiance, allowing friends to band together. These are different files so players can’t take their solo character into a multiplayer game. When creating the world, players will have the option to make it public or private, protecting their hard-earned resources from malicious strangers.
To shine a light on the growing community, various screenshot challenges have been posted for players to participate in. Players can post photos of their gameplay to the appropriate Discord channel to participate. No rewards or accolades will be given, but participants will have their moments highlighted in an official dev post the next day. The current challenge is to build a temple to an Olympian or a recording of physical prowess, such as a long distance headshot or swimming over a large waterway.
