Summary
Thursday, November 7 is going to be a sad day forEAfans, as four titles from the publisher are shutting down on that day. When players inevitably move on to new releases, EA eventually makes the decision to shut down support of its older titles.

List of EA Games Shutting Down Soon
It seems all EA games with online support are doomed to be shut down eventually. This is certainly disappointing, butEA does at least give fans plenty of advance noticebefore pulling the plug. This way, fans of EA’s games can prioritize titles they’re interested in before their online functionality is lost forever.
But when a game is built entirely around its online features, a shut-down means that the game effectively ceases to exist. This will be the case withThe Simpsons: Tapped Out, which is scheduled to shut down on July 31, 2025. Unfortunately for any newcomers wanting to give the game a go before its demise,The Simpsons: Tapped Outwas delisted at the end of October.
To date, November 7 is the last day that EA has confirmed any game shutdowns for in 2024, but 2025 is already starting to fill up. So far, EA has confirmed thatRory McIlroy PGA Touris shutting down on January 16,The Simpsons: Tapped Outis shutting down on January 24, and a slew of mobile games are getting the axe on January 29. It’s highly likely that even more EA titles will be shut down in 2025, though fans will have to wait for official word to know for sure.
