Once Humanhas a wealth of weapon attachments that players can deck their guns out with. They don’t have the same impact as weapon mods, but accessories like the Tactical SR Mag can siginificantly improve quality of life and even help out tremendously when it comes to clutch situations.
The Tactical SR Mag is going to be one of thebest weapon accessories inOnce Humanfor snipers. It doesn’t do much on paper, but in practice, it can save players a lot of time when it comes to dealing damage during limited vulnerability windows. Here’s how to get it.
Once Human Tactical SR Mag Location
you’re able to find theTactical SR Magin an unmarked location along the highway in the Blackheart region. There are no nearby POIs here, but the spot you’re looking for is just past a bridge and near an intersection leading to some oil fields. This area is meant for high-level players, but even if you’re not quite at that level yet, you can still go here provided that the server you’re on has all the regions unlocked in its current phase.
In contrast to otherOnce Humanattachments like the Extended Rifle Mag, the Tactical SR Mag isn’t locked behind the game’s usual Riddle Spots. Instead, it is buried underneath a pile of Stardust-infused rocks. Upon arriving at the location indicated on the map above, face the billboard by the intersection, then take a short jog east. You’ll see the pile of rocks after a short while.
To get the Tactical SR Mag, you need to use explosives. Even the basic Frag Grenades that you find in droves is enough to get the job done. Pull the pin, throw the grenade, and watch the rocks crumble, revealing a chest containing the sniper rifle magazine and a bunch of other rewards like Energy Links and Controllers.
What Does The Tactical SR Mag Do?
This is a pretty simple weapon accessory despite being tucked so far away from the starting zone. All the Tactical SR Mag does is improve your weapon’s reload speed by 15 and your mobility by 7. Granted, sniper rifles inOnce Humanhave fairly slow reload times, so any mod or weapon attachment that shaves even a few milliseconds of your reload animations will do wonders for your DPS.
For example, the HAMR Crumble, which has a base Reload Speed stat of 24, takes 4.1 seconds to reload. With the Tactical SR Mag, this goes down to 3.7 seconds. It’s not much, but when you pair this with mods and armor effects that further reduce reload times, then you’ll be able to swap mags much faster compared to using a different sniper rifle magazine attachment.
Apart from the HAMR Crumble, theSN700Gulped Lore rifle also benefits greatly from bonus reload speed. This weapon has a chance to trigger Unstable Bomber upon hitting a weakspot, causing an explosion at the point of impact that deals guaranteed critical damage. The extra reload speed is going to be invaluable against bosses with limited vulnerability windows like Treant.
