The Egghead Island arc has been quite an elaborate arcand certainly longer than what fans had expected it to be. This arc marked the beginning of the final saga ofOne Piece, and it is safe to say that, in many ways, it surpassed all expectations. Usually, the arcs at the beginning of a saga are not this intense, but, the fact that Egghead was above anything that fans had expected just goes to show that the final saga about to be extremely intense, with plot points more exciting than anything that fans had ever imagined.
The Egghead Island arc gave fans a lot of exciting battles, but more importantly, it also gave them a lot of big reveals pertaining to the Void Century, thanks to Vegapunk. It is confirmed that the arc is officially over. The next journey for the Straw Hat Pirates is at an even more exciting island, which will be especially intriguing for Usopp, whose dreams are going to be brought to life, finally.
The Straw Hats Sail Away From Egghead
One Piecechapter 1122 sawthe Straw Hat Piratesfinally regroup on the seas and attempt to sail away from Egghead. The crew hadn’t left the island yet, which is why many readers were still confused as to whether the arc was truly over or not. One Piece chapter 1123 takes things from there and essentially confirms that the arc is over. Fans saw Luffy say thanks to the Iron Giant in One Piece chapter 1123, getting no response from him. In the meanwhile, the Straw Hat Pirates’ ship, the Thousand Sunny, and at the same time, the ship of the Giant Pirates, sailed away from Egghead. The source of power, that is, the Five Elders, was completely gone as well, which means that Saturn was not seen on Egghead either, and neither did he make any attempts to stop the sailing ship. At the same time, fans also got to see powerful enemies of the Strawhats, like the Marines, taken out of the equation as well.

While the Vegapunks are mostly dead, Lilith still lives and she is with the Straw Hats right now. Bonney managed to survive, as did Kuma, and fans saw them sleeping together in One Piece chapter 1123. Essentially, the danger is now over, and Luffy has left his Gear 5 state as well. Now, it is time for bigger things, and that is, the upcoming Elbaf arc ofOne Piece.
The Short Journey To The Land Of The Giants
The Elbaf Arc Will Begin Soon In One Piece
From Egghead, the fans are going to go to Elbaf, and it is going to be incredibly exciting to see this journey come to life. Fans have been waiting for Elbaf for decades now, and the fact that it is finally happening now has them just as excited as Wano did. This is going to be a very special arc for many characters, especially the likes of Usopp, who fans have waited to see shine in the story for many years now. In One Piece chapter 1123, the ships were clearly seen sailing towards Elbaf. Of course, a significant portion of the chapter was a flashback of 2 weeks before Egghead.
During this time, fans saw how Vegapunk figured out who the traitor was, and how he took steps to avoid the erasure of all his research over the years. Fans also got to see that Vegapunk chose to die on Egghead, in order for his message to begin, and more importantly, Vegapunk’s plans for the future as well. Right now, the Giant Pirates inthe Strawhats are sailing on the way to Elbaf, with only Sanji left behind with his thoughts about Vegapunk’s death, simply because he was asked by the scientist to be allowed to die on Egghead.
Sanji is going to carry this guilt for a period of time, just as he did with Pedro.
The path that the Straw Hat Pirates tread now headed to Elbad is a short one. Fans know this because Vegapunk clearly stated that Elbaf is quite close to where Egghead is located. At the same time, fans also know that the Giant Pirates made it to Egghead within a day’s time, which means that the journey from Egghead to Elbaf is not going to be long either. Fans could potentially see the Straw Hats reach Elbaf in a chapter or two at most.
What Comes Next In One Piece?
The Warland Will Feature Many Exciting Battles, Reunions, And Revelations
Of course, at this point, it’s quite clear for the fans to see thatthe next arc is Elbaf, and preparations for it have already begun. Given that Elbaf is close, fans might see this arc start quite soon. However, before that, Oda could take fans all over the world and give them a glimpse of what is happening elsewhere. The whereabouts of the other yonko might be focused on, and at the same time, the Navy might be making some preparations of their own. Similarly, the God’s Knights, and, by extension, the World Government might be looking for ways to counter the Revolutionary Army and the siege that they have laid on Marijoa.

The Revolutionary Army themselves might be preparing for an extended war, and, similarly, there are other factions in the One Piece world that might be making preparations of their own. It is entirely possible that Oda will focus on these plot points over the course of the next few chapters, and if that were to happen, then fans would be in fora very exciting run before Elbaf begins. During this run, it is also possible that fans get to see new bounties, along with much else, for their beloved Strawhats.
Of course, the biggest part you have to come isthe beginning of the Elbaf arc, which fans know is going to be absolutely fascinating. From a new Island, to a new culture, new outfits, and new characters to meet, the upcoming arc is going to have absolutely everything that fans could have wanted. Furthermore, this art is going to be incredibly important for the likes of Usopp, among many others, and hopefully, Oda can do justice to these characters, especially in an arc as grand as Elbaf, which has been set up in the story years ago. All fans need to do is sit back and patiently wait for this arc to begin, and hope that Oda delivers an emphatic arc.
