The hype aroundOne PieceEpisode 1115 massively dwindled because it aired on the same day as One Piece Day. Most fans wanted to know about the different projects, which is why many overlooked the episode. However, it is safe to say that didn’t diminish the quality of the episode.
One PieceEpisode 1115 started with Kuzan’s staredownwith Monkey D. Garp,but instead, of going to the fight immediately, there was a small flashback, which included the reason behind Kuzan’s decision to join the Blackbeard Pirates. Kuzan met Blackbeard and his crew on an unnamed island in the New World. Some of the pirates decided to attack Kuzan, but the former Marine Admiral instantly froze them. Blackbeard was unhappy after seeing the plight of his underlings, but he did not fight Kuzan.

The Former Admiral Accepts The Yonko’s Offer
Kuzan and Blackbeard got talking, and the former even thawed out the pirates. They began to chatabout Kuzan’s duel with Akainu. The former Marine showed that he had lost his left leg, but he made sure to return some of the pain to Akainu. The next point of their discussion was Hinokizu, or the Man with the Burn Scar. According to rumors, the mysterious person travels aboard an all-black ship. Whenever an enemy vessel tries to get too close, it ends up being swallowed by a whirlpool. Laffitte attributed the appearance of whirlpools to Hinozuki’s possible Devil Fruit.
Things were progressing smoothly until Lafitte decided to tell his captain how Kuzan’s Devil Fruit was so powerful. Unfortunately for them, the ex-Admiral overheard them and immediately got into battle mode. Once again, he froze several members of the crew. The remaining members thought it was a good idea to hunt Kuzan, but Blackbeard had other plans. He asked Kuzan to join the crew rather than fight him. The former Marine laughed it off, but Blackbeard reiterated that they didn’t need to be friends to sail together. All they needed was a common goal. This was enough to convince Kuzan, after which he joined the Blackbeard Pirates.

The Master And Pupil Resume Their Battle
Once the flashback was complete, Kuzan took his position and started to attack Garp.His Hie Hie no Mi wastemporarily effective in stopping the Vice Admiral and freezing him in a single place. Next, Kuzan followed up by throwing a massive ice shard, but Garp broke free with the help of his Conqueror’s Haki.

Kuzan kept trying to freeze Garp, but it didn’t work. It was Garp’s turn to land a serious attack on his former pupil, which sent him crashing into the ground.
Trafalgar Law Loses Most Of His Crew

The episode also disclosed the result of Blackbeard’s fight with Trafalgar Law. As expected, the Yonko defeated the Supernova and his crew. Law’s Polar Tang was also destroyed, which meant that escaping was nearly impossible.
Blackbeard intended to take Law’s Devil Fruit, and he would have been successful if not for Bepo. The Mink used Chopper’s medicine to enter the Sulong transformation and attack the Blackbeard Pirates. After the Sulong ran out, Bepo took Law and escaped to the sea.
One Piece Episode 1116 Release Date
One Piece Episode 1116 will be released on Jun 03, 2025.It will be titled “Let’s Go Get It! Buggy’s Big Declaration.” In Episode 1116, Buggy will make a big declaration that will shock both Crocodile and Mihawk. The Yonko will reveal his desire to claim the One Piece, which is a bold move. Buggy has always come off as a character used to induce humor, but it seems that he will undergo a big change.
Despite being thrashedaround by Mihawk and Crocodile, Buggy somehow found the courage to speak up and declare his feelings to his underlings. Crocodile and Mihawk will not be pleased with Buggy’s decision, and they will beat him again. However, Buggy’s minions will be overjoyed after hearing their captain’s desire to claim the One Piece. The reason why Buggy spoke up after such a long time is because he is now on the same level as Shanks, at least in terms of reputation.
Will The Fight In Hachinosu Continue?
Garp And Kuzan Will Conclude Their Fight Soon
While there was no mention of the fight in the preview, it seems unlikely that the episode will just cover the state of affairs at Buggy’s place. In the previous episode, fans saw Kuzan being pummeled into the ground by Garp. The ex-Admiral would have taken some damage from the attack, but it certainly wouldn’t be enough to keep him down. Kuzan will get back to his feet, and the battle on Hachinosu will continue. The interesting thing will be whether the other Titanic Captains join the fray as well.
