The Elbaf arc ofOne Piecehas been described by Oda himself as the prelude to the Great War, and fans know very well that from here onwards, things are only going to get more intense. Right now, the land of the Giants, Elbaf, has been taken over by the Holy Knights and their leader, Imu, as well as the demon army that they’ve produced.
But, help is on the way asLuffy’s group is going to aid greatly in this fight. As usual, Luffy will fight against Imu soon enough, and when that happens, fans will see a battle the likes of which haven’t been seen inOne Piecebefore. Undoubtedly, after a battle do this scale, Luffy will gain a new bounty, and that goes without saying.
Luffy Will Fight Imu In Elbaf
Right now, the Elbaf arc of One Piece is around its midpoint, as the Loki flashback is finally underway. This flashback is going to last for about 10 chapters or so, if the previous flashbacks of the story are anything to go by, and in that case, fans will return to the main story after a few months. When that happens, Oda will inevitably turn his attention to Imu and the Holt Knights again, which means that Luffy will be gearing up to fight his greatest and most formidable enemy to date.

As fans know, Imu is incredibly powerful and their powers are borderline magic, which means that Luffy will need to be at his very best when this clash begins. At the same time, fans know very well that Imu cannot win this fight for two main reasons. The first is that if Imu wins, Elbaf Will Be permanently turned over to the World Government. That absolutely cannot happen, especially because the Giants are already foretold to side with Nika.
Secondly, if Imu wins against Luffy while being in a weaker body, that is, Gunko’s, then it just means that Luffy will never beat the true body either. If anything,Imu being in Gunko’s bodyshould make it possible for Luffy to win, for now.
Luffy’s Bounty Is Bound To Rise Even Higher
The World Government Cannot Hide The Fall Of Holy Knights
When the Holy Knights fall, the World Government cannot simply cover it up. This is especially true when they’re already under fire from the Revolutionary Army and possiblyeven the Blackbeard Pirates. The Great War could begin immediately after the fights against the Imu are done, which means that they likely won’t waste any time issuing new bounties.

Luffy Should Be Worth 4 Billion Berries After Elbaf
As things stand, Luffy is worth 3 billion berries, but his next bounty needs to be higher, especially since he already deserves a higher one. After beating Imu,Luffy’s Bounty should be raised to 4 billion berries. However, this figure should still be lower than Shanks’s, whose bounty is at 4.0489 billion berries. A figure of exactly 4 billion would be perfect for the Straw Hat Captain.
One Piece Chapter 1156 will be out in two weeks. As usual, One Piece is going to drop on Sunday. In Japan, One Piece drops at 12AM JST on Monday.
