Amidst all this chaos, there are some characters that fans are intrigued by more than others, and of course, Yonko Blackbeard is one of them. After having taken down Trafalgar Law,fans are wondering what Blackbeard’s next move will be, and while some believe he will target Shanks, the reality is completely different.
Blackbeard Is Already On The Move Again
Shanks and Blackbeard will eventually clash inOne Pieceand that goes without saying. This fight has been set up by Oda long ago, and it is bound to happen. However, it isn’t going to happen right now. By the looks of it, Blackbeard already has another target set for himself, and the one investigating on his behalf is none other than Lafitte. Currently, he’s observing the movements of the Navy and the Revolutionary Army from Umit Port, which is right next to the Red Line. He is keeping an eye on howthe Revolutionary Army siege develops, and it appears that Blackbeard and his crew have a big plan ahead, and all this could very well involve the Holy Land of Marijoa.

Blackbeard Might Target Imu Before Shanks
Blackbeard Could Fulfill Rocks’s Promise
One Piecefans know very well that the concept of Inherited Will is incredibly important in the story. After all, it is one of the core themes in One Piece. Just as Luffy has inherited the Will of Roger and Joy Boy, Blackbeard too has inherited someone’s will, and that person isnone other than Rocks D. Xebec. This would’ve been a flimsy theory until a few weeks ago, but now, it’s been confirmed in the story that Teach is the son of Rocks, and given how much tribute he’s paid to Rocks, it goes without saying that he’s carrying out his father’s wishes.

One Piecechapter 1155 gave fans a good look at Rocks’s meeting with Imu, and he made a big promise to him. Even though Rocks and Imu didn’t fight, he promised him that he would return to the Room of Flowers and come for his throne. Of course, Rocks is dead, but Teach isn’t. More importantly, his actions, which revolve around Marijoa at the moment, seem to implythat he is looking to target Imu.
Blackbeard Might Be The Final Villain
Blackbeard could very well attack Marijoaduring the events of Elbaf, or possibly even after. It must be remembered that Imu recently stated that Marijoa is in a sea of flames at the moment. Naturally, most fans associate this with the Revolutionary Army, but it is equally likely that this is the work of the Blackbeard Pirates and that Teach is on the move again. If true, then Imu is in big trouble as Blackbeard will be looking to steal his demon ability.
