WithOne Piecereturning from its two-week break, Oda had promised fans a new color spread to thank them for the huge popularity of the Elbaf arc. This week, he delivered just that with a stunning new spread featuring some interesting characters asidefrom the Straw Hat pirates.
This color spread has led to quite some discussions in theOne Piecefandom, and some believe this might be Oda’s way of hinting at the three most important Straw Hats after Luffy.
One Piecejust received a new colorspread for its newest chapter,One Piecechapter 1156. This new colorspread was definitely one of the best fans have seen in a while, especially because it featured the main three of the Roger Pirates,which include Roger himself, as well as Rayleigh and Gaban.
In addition to the Roger Pirates, however, the colorspread also featured all the members of the Straw Hat Pirates, but in addition to Luffy, three specific members were given the spotlight.
While most Straw Hats were miniature versions of themselves, Zoro, Sanji, and Nami, were normal-sized. This is definitely a choice from Oda to highlight these three next to Roger and his most important members.
Nami and Zoro were next to Rayleigh, while Sanji took the spotlight next to Gaban. Many fans were, however, disappointed to see thatall the East Blue Straw Hat Pirateswere highlighted on this color spread, apart from Usopp. This is especially disappointing when Elbaf has been hyped up as the arc where Usopp will shine. But, so far, he has yet to do anything significant or be given any attention, even on a colorspread.

While some Straw Hat Pirates definitely get more attentionthan others in the grand scheme of things, every single one of them is important in their own way.
Just because Oda highlighted Nami, Zoro, and Sanji in this colorspread doesn’t mean they are more important than the rest.
Each Straw Hat will eventually get their time to shine,especially in the Final SagaofOne Piece. It’s only a matter of time.
One Piece Chapter 1155 will be out this week. As usual, One Piece is going to drop on Sunday. In Japan, One Piece drops at 12AM JST on Monday.
