In a video, the creator revealed the realistic size of the prop, along with its many details replicating the in-game version. The already impressive prop was made even better by the design feature that allowed the top of the mace to be released since it was connected to the handle by a chain, similar tohow Brigitte’s weapon works inOverwatch 2.

When sharing the creation on Reddit, Candyskull53 said the flail was made of EVA foam and PVC piping. They also used hot glue sticks for the hinges on the prop. The neat fan creation has caught the attention of theOverwatchsubreddit, with the post gaining more than 2K upvotes. In the comments, some users wondered how the flail could be reloaded after the top part had been released. According to Candyskull53, the flail was designed so that the chain could be placed back into the PVC handle, allowing the mace to sit “snugly” back on top of the prop.
Besides this real-life Brigitte flail,Overwatch 2fans have created other weapon propsand cosplays based on their favorite heroes from the roster. In fact, this is not Candyskull53’s firstOverwatch-related project, as they have previously shown off Reinhardt and Mercy cosplays on Reddit.
WithOverwatch 2set to add Junoto the roster in the coming days, it will be interesting to see if creative fans decide to make real-life weapons and costumes based on the character.
