Summary
APokemonfan has recently devised a new Mega evolution for Tropius, coming up with a unique design that made it look even more powerful. Mega evolutions first appeared inPokemon X and Yas temporary stronger forms of some creatures, and have been used in manyPokemonfan art pieces since then.
Tropius is a Grass/Flying-type critter that first appeared inthe third generation ofPokemongames. The Pokemon resembles some kind of dinosaur and has its neck, head, and back covered with leaves, which also form mighty wings. Tropius is a powerful monster and can use moves such as the Dragon-type Outrage and the Grass-type Solar Beam at high levels. It’s not known to evolve into or from any other Pokemon, and it does not have any official Mega evolution.
Now, a prolificPokemonfan artist called El-psy-congroo-01 has shared a remarkable Mega evolution for Tropius with the game’s community. In the piece shared by the artist, it’s possible to see Mega Tropius, a Grass/Dark-type creature that still looks like a dinosaur, but it has much bigger leaves than usual, as well as a horn, sharper claws, and more colorful wings. Overall, the design looks impressive, following what’s expected for a Mega evolution: creating a bigger, fiercer version of Tropius. The Pokemon also comes with a shiny version, which has green leaves instead of dark blue ones.
Mega Tropius Pokemon Fan Art
This is not the first time that El-psy-congroo-01 has shared amazingPokemonfan art with the community. Earlier this year, for example, the fan artist designed anincredible future Paradox form for Rhydon. In this form, the creature became a Rock/Fighting-type monster that had an orange horn and what seemed like metallic skin.
Tropius is often depicted in artworks shared byPokemonfans. A few months ago, for example, one artist deviseda regional variant for Tropius. According to its creator, this fan art was greatly inspired by Japan’s iconic Mount Fuji, and it was a Rock/Fairy-type creature with blue skin and a long coat made of cherry blossom trees.
In another recent piece of fan art, a person designed afusion of Hydreigon and Tropius, achieving an incredible result. This unnamed fusion embraced the draconic appearance of Hydreigon, turning the final form into a monster with multiple leaf wings and three draconic heads. Hopefully, otherPokemonfans will continue to create pieces depicting the most popular creatures in the franchise and share the results with the community.
