Pokemon GOhas announced the new Harvest Festival event, which will begin on November 7. The Harvest Festival will be one of the firstPokemon GOevents to take place in November, celebrating autumn with trainers by offering a variety of bonuses.

The first edition of the Harvest Festival took place between October 12 and 17 last year and focused on Grass-type Pokemon. One of the highlights was theaddition of Smoliv and its evolutions toPokemon GO, with trainers encountering the little Paldean critter in the wild and through Field Research tasks. The same event saw encounters in the wild with pocket monsters such as Bellsprout, Flabebe, Bounsweet, and Sunkern. Trainers also enjoyed bonuses such as extended time for Mossy Lure Modules, new Collection Challenges, and PokeStop Showcases.

This year will be no different, with thePokemon GOHarvest Festival event starting at 10 am on November 7 and ending at 8 pm local time on October 12. One of the highlights is Smoliv, which will be available for the first time in shiny form. In addition to Smoliv, the pool of Pokemon found in the wild has 11 other monsters, including Pumpkaboo in four different sizes. Trainers will earn doubled Candy for capturing monsters, shiny Pumpkaboo will have a greater chance of appearing, andMossy Lure Moduleswill attract Pokemon such as Alolan Exeggutor and Snorlax.

Along with the new event, a newPokemon GOField Researchwill be available, rewarding trainers with Smoliv and Pumpkaboo encounters, with both having a chance of being shiny. A new Paid Research will be available for $2 USD and will reward two Mossy Lure Modules, incense, a Lucky Egg, and encounters with Smoliv. Themed Collection Challenges will be available with Smoliv and Stardust encounters as rewards and PokeStop Showcases in which players can enter critters related to the event.

While the Harvest Festival is one of the events that will open the calendar of activities in November,Pokemon GOplayers have exciting activities to look forward to. It is already known thatMankey will be the Pokemon for Community Day, which will take place on November 10. Two new Wild Area events will take place on November 23-24, one in the Japanese city of Fukuoka, and the other for players around the world. The final month ofPokemon GO’s Max Out Season will also feature new raids, Spotlight Hours, Max Battles, and Max Mondays, a new event focused on battles against Dynamax Pokemon.
