The latest appearance of an Unown is Unown U, which is being featured through the Ultra Unlock: Steel and Scales event.
Ultra Unlock: Steel and Scales is taking place as part of the Delightful Days Season. The event kicks off onJuly 22, 2025, at 10 AM local timeand will conclude for Trainers onJuly 27, 2025, at 8 PM local time. During this event, Unown U is not only available in both regular and shiny forms, but also has increased odds of appearing as a shiny encounter during this time.
Specifically, players can locate Unown U as a Raid Boss at 1-Star Raids throughout the event.
