A Young Maid With No Combat Experience
Despite being an avid follower of Subaru Natsuki, one of Team Emilia’s leaders, Petra Leyte’s expertise lies in care and service,working as a maid at Roswaal Manor. Despite being involved in the Arlam Village attack that saw Subaru and Rem defend Petra and her friends from a pack of witchbeasts, the young maid stays out of the action.
As one of Roswaal L. Mathers' maids, Petra contributes to Team Emilia in other avenues instead of using raw strength. When shown, Petra’s aid and effort have been beneficial to the cause, despite her jealousy towards Emilia due to Subaru’s infatuation.
10Otto Suwen
A Merchant Turned Advisor That Can Communicate With Animals
Starting as a merchant who becomes entangled in Subaru’s mess, Otto has become a valuable asset to Team Emilia, acting as the group’s political advisor. While not known as a warrior, Otto possesses the Divine Protection of Soul Language, allowing him to converse with creatures in their animal languages.
While handy at gaining the aid of animals nearby, Otto’s Divine Protection proves not as helpful when it comes to combat. Despite his shortcomings, Otto makes up for his lack of raw strength, proving to bea wise mind who advises Emilia.
9Subaru Natsuki
A Loyal Lover With The Witch Of Envy On His Side
InRe:Zero, Subaru has become Emilia’s number one ally, defending her no matter the danger that arises. At first, Emilia often saves Subaru when the protagonist finds his way into Lugunica. However, over time,Subaru has proven to be a worthy knightwho can protect his beloved.
With his Return by Death power entrusted to him by the Witch of Envy, Satella, Subaru has been able to save Emilia from death on multiple occasions, helping increase her standing in the Royal Selection contest. However, Subaru still lacks strength. He’s almost useless in combat without Satella’s intervention.
8Ram
An Oni Sister Who Is Adept At Wind Magic
The pink-haired maid Ram is one of the original members of Team Emilia, working as Roswaal’s servant at Roswaal Manor, where Emilia resides. While often prickly towards Emilia due to her loyalty to Roswaal, Ram has become an influential team member,particularly in the Sanctuary arc.
While Ram may not be as strong as her sister Rem when at full power, the demi-human still utilizes her powers of Clairvoyance and wind magic. Ram has become rather adept at using wind magic, which is becoming her primary tool of offense in combat.
7Frederica Baumann
A Demi-Human Maid Who Can Transform Into A Beast
As Roswaal’s longtime maid, Frederica Baumann has been a longstanding member of Team Emilia, although the character first makes her appearance in season 2. She is the sister of Garfiel Tinzel, and the pair both possess demi-human powers, enabling them to transform into beasts.
In Frederica’s case, the maid can evolve into a leopard monster, using her abilityin her battle against Elsa Granhiertthroughout season 2. Despite her brother’s power seemingly being stronger, Frederica is a top-level brawler, unafraid to throw down against powerful foes.

An Out Of Commission Maid Who Is Powerful At Her Peak
Due to being in a coma after being attacked by Regulus Corneas and Lye Batenkaitos of the Witch Cult, Rem has been out of action for an extended period. Despite this, Rem has displayed a peak level of power that rivals many strong individuals in Team Emilia.Whenever Rem finds herself in distress, the demi-human can conjure an Oni horn, allowing her to gain super strength.
In her battle with a pack of witchbeasts, Rem dismantles her enemies with her ultra-strength, while simultaneously saving Subaru and the innocent kids of Arlam Village. Although Rem falls victim to the Witch Cult while utilizing her unique ability, she puts up a respectable fight against two menacing foes.
5Emilia
The Team Leader Can Utilize Spirits And Magic
At the forefront of Team Emilia is the half-elf herself, around whommuch ofRe:Zerorevolves around. As the group leader, Emilia plays her part in advancing her position in the Royal Selection race, even if it comes to conflict.
On numerous occasions, against opponents such as Granhiert, Sirius Romanée-Conti, and other Witch Cult members, Emilia has shown her competence at using ice magic. In battle, Emilia has a variety of ice moves up her sleeve, ever improving as she continually finds herself in more chaos.
4Garfiel Tinzel
This Irritable Demi-Human Can Become A Full-Fledged Monster
Introduced asone of season 2’s many antagonists, the stubborn Garfiel showed his prowess in combat immediately. When Subaru and Emilia entered the Sanctuary, Garfiel felt threatened by their presence, and was willing to protect the Sanctuary and its citizens from harm.
Along with his transformation into a towering tiger and his Divine Protection of Earth Spirits, Garfiel presents an almighty challenge for Subaru. The protagonist only defeats him through collaboration and an earnest heart-to-heart that saw Garfiel overcome his past. Later on inRe:Zero, Garfiel, along with the help of his sister Frederica, takes down Granhiert in an all-out brawl at Roswaal Manor. Garfiel’s demi-human abilities push him to victory.
3Beatrice
A Hard-Nosed Spirit That Uses Yin Magic
Beatrice comes into her own during seasons 2 and 3, showing plenty of growth frombeing a recluse at Roswaal Manor. As a disciple of the Witch of Greed, Echidna, Beatrice has picked up many attributes and traits from her master, including her mastery of magic.
Beatrice’s expertise in the rare Yin magic is impressive, with the brash spirit showcasing her various abilities in her contest with Granhiert. In her most incredible show of strength, Beatrice, alongside Subaru and Emilia, eliminates the Great Rabbit, trapping the great witchbeasts. In doing so, Beatrice uses Al Shamak to banish the destructive foes, showing true power and versatility in a dangerous situation.
2Roswaal L. Mathers
A Two-Faced Mage With Mastery Of Various Magic Types
Roswaal is a polarizing figureamongRe:Zerofans. However, there is no doubt Emilia’s benefactor is a significant threat in combat. In the years before the current events ofRe:Zero, Roswaal has shown a high level of mage mastery, displaying all kinds of magic types when encountering foes.
Shortly before the events ofRe:Zero, Roswaal faced off against Puck, holding his own despite Puck’s immense talents. During season 2, when the character emerges as a vindictive villain, Roswaal takes on Puck again, this time with the addition of his dear Ram. In the climatic moment, Roswaal takes on the pair in a fierce battle in the Sanctuary, showing his unparalleled magical skills.
