If the leaks are to be believed,Resident Evil 9’s main characters will apparently be Leon S. Kennedy and Jill Valentine, investigating an island tied toEveline and the Megamycete. Other returning characters are said to include Chris Redfield and Barry Burton in non-playable capacities.

The leaker claims to have revealed some of the locations thatResident Evil 9players will visit on the island, which will supposedly include an abandoned hospital, caves, a dark forest, an abandoned factory, a laboratory, and a temple, so typicalResident Evilfare. Enemies are said to include “evolved zombies” similar toResident Evil 4’s Ganados, a “stalker” enemy that stalks Leon (like Nemesis or Mr. X), and a Goatman enemy that Jill will have to fight. The main villain in the game is said to be “Mr. Simon.”
