Quick Links
The world ofSengoku Dynastyis a big one and it is full of places to explore, characters to interact with, and factions to take out across the map. With all of these things being present, the game can easily feel overwhelming at first. It doesn’t help, either, when the game allows them torun around and do what they want right away. It’s a true sandbox experience that can feel like there may just be too much sand to play with.
However, that doesn’t mean that players can’t figure out what they need to be doing at first. There are plenty of things that players can do when first starting out tomake their time in the game much easier. Unfortunately, the game doesn’t exactly explain these to the players at first, which means there will be some confusion. That’s why this guide here comes to give the advice that players need to start out on their best foot in the game.
Complete The Objectives
When the game first begins, the player will have a handful of objectives to complete. At first, it seems like this is here to help the players learn all the mechanics of the game. It feels like a tutorial more than anything, and that canmake it easy to ignore in favor of exploration.
However, people really should do these objectives before doing anything else in the game. It may seem tedious and annoying, but these objectives are there tohelp the player get going as fast as they can. It not only helps them learn the game, but it also gives them the right gear to set out when they’re ready.
Collect Everything
It can be easy to get distracted by the desire to get to the objective or destination as fast as possible, passing over a lot of sticks, stones, and other miscellaneous items that can be picked up along the way. However, picking up these itemscan be hugely beneficial.
There are going to be a lot of structures and recipes that requireusing a lot of these smaller items. They seem unassuming, but the smaller resources can prove to be some of the most important ones in the beginning stages of the game. Having as many of these on hand as possible is going to make the entire thing much easier to grind through and will save players from having to spend a lot of time scavenging for more.
Build Tools Before Weapons
Combat is going to playan important rolein any player’s time in the game, but itshould not be the first thing they focus on. Despite there being a good handful of weapons available for crafting when first starting, players really should forego these at first and focus on crafting tools instead.
Building up that basein a village isgoing to be crucialfor when combat does become more prominent. But that is going to take some time and the tools are going to be much more useful than anything else.
Don’t Journey Too Far
When first starting, the player will be met with a burned-down village that needs help to rebuild itself. However, the game does offer the player the chance to rebuild in another locationif they want. It gives them the freedom to establish their home wherever they want.
However, players don’t need to waste their time finding a new place to relocate the village. Instead, they should build itright where it isto save themselves some time. If they want to have a village in another location, then they can build another village there later.
Take Your Time
The final piece of advice is tonot take things too quickly. It’s going to be tempting to rush through a lot of the tutorials and get to the meat of the game. This makes sense since there is a lot of game to dive into once the initial phase has ended.
However, taking the time to learn everything will make diving into that open worldmuch more satisfying and easier. Knowing what resourcescan be scavenged or crafted, where certain things can be found, and just having an overall feel for the game will make the entire experience much better.
