A noteworthy leaker has teased aSilent Hillrelease roadmap through 2028. While the first three games in the series became beloved, genre-defining horror classics, many fans felt Konami struggled to live up to the same bar in later releases. Now, though, things are starting to turn around forSilent Hill, and it looks like gamers have a lot to look forward to in the coming years.

The team behind the franchise has revealed quite a few upcoming projects, but has not offered many details on most of them.Silent Hill f,which is set to come out in September 2025, has gotten a fair bit of attention, but Konami alsoannounced the spin-offSilent Hill: Townfallin 2022with little offered beyond the initial one-minute trailer since. While Konami may be tight-lipped about its future games, a leaker has just offered some more clarity.

Horror game leaker Dusk Golem took to Twitter to detail what fans can expect from theSilent Hillfranchise in terms of release windows. According to the timeline, which Dusk Golem admits is “a guess” and subject to change,Townfallwill come out in 2026 afterSilent Hill fdrops later this year. It also has theSilent Hillremake Konami surprise-revealed in Junecoming out a year later in 2027. The leaker claims Bloober Team started work on the remake roughly three years ago, which, if true, would line up with a 2027 drop and would make sense in light of itsSilent Hill 2remake’s 2024 release.

Leaker Teases the Release Timeline for the Next Four Silent Hill Games

Most intriguingly, Dusk Golem says an “internalSHgame” could come out in 2028. It’s unclear what exactly that means beyond something Konami is developing itself, which makes the case for it being a mainline entry in the series. Both theSilent Hillremake andTownfallare being developed by third-party studios, so this 2028 release could be a long-awaited sequel. Considering thatSilent Hill fis confirmed to be a standalone game, Konami’s next crack at the series could potentially go back to the main timeline and follow up on earlier titles.

Fans should take this proposed timeline with a grain of salt. The tweets also state that the roadmap is a guess and that Konami has switched up its planned order before, so things may change down the line, even if it is accurate right now. Looking beyond Konami, the originalSilent Hillcreator is also working on a new game, though not many details are available yet.
