Season of The Two Embers Part 1 Event in Sky: Children of the Light
The Season of the Two Embers Part 1 event inSky: Children of the Lightbegins onJuly 21, 2025, and will run throughOctober 5, 2025. This event aims to build upon the lore of theSkyuniverse as an origin story of how the world came to be on a path to ruin, letting players uncover the tale through an experience involving an orphaned child finding and chasing hope even whilst darkness closes in around them. The story involves no dialogue and has been designed for players to watch alongside their friends inside theSkygame, complete with brand-newplayable contentand optional in-game purchases.
With each chapter of the Season of the Two Embers story, players will have Seasonal Quests that are paired alongside it, bringing an immersive experience previously unseen in the game. The Season Guide in Aviary Village and Home will teleport you to the Cinema, where players can watch the story and unlock each set of quests as they make progress. Each chapter of the story premieres weekly, so players have time to enjoy each moment in full. As they complete each quest, players will be able to unlock special cosmetics inspired by the story as well as two Ultimate Gifts.
Players will even be able to forge a relationship with one of the most important characters from the Season of Two Embers story - none other than the lovable Manatee! This Manatee will respond to your actions and stand by your side throughout the journey, letting players evolve their bond and notice how the Manatee’s behaviour reflects their personal bond.
