However, to make the most of their Shouts, a Dragonborn has to take in Souls from the Dragons that they slay in battle, which is easier said than done. While all Dragons are formidable foes, theoldest Dragons inSkyrimcan be the toughest enemies for any Dragonborn to fight.
AlthoughSkyrimis a massive worldnotorious for its comedic glitchesand unintended behaviors, one player shared the fallout from an otherwise normal battle. On the r/skyrim subreddit, Reddit user Gavinw2000 shared a one-minute clip of a scuffle between the Stormcloaks and the Imperial Legion. A few seconds into the fight, the Dragonborn took the head of one of the Imperial Soldiers before moving on to the next. However, the fallen Imperial’s body spontaneously burned like a fallen Dragon, and a Dragon Soul emerged from the remains. The Dragonborn then absorbed the Dragon Soul and finished the remaining Imperials without problems. Just as a Dragon’s scales are burned off whenever their Soul is taken by a Dragonborn, the Dragon Soul also caused the fallen Imperial to not have any armor on, despite still having it equipped on them.
Skyrim Player Absorbs A Dragon Soul From An Imperial Soldier
In response to the Dragon Soul coming from the body of the fallen Imperial Soldier, some r/skyrim users joked that the fallen guard was also a Dragonborn hidden in plain sight, while others quoted theHighlanderTV series about the battle’s outcome. Others noted that, since Gavinw2000 stated theyplayedSkyrimwith mods enabled, the Dragon Soul’s appearance from the fallen Imperial may have been due to a mod not functioning correctly.
