The Spirits of the Dalish is a side quest inDragon Age: The Veilguardthat will take you on a wild search while exploring the Arlathan Forest. While some players may be more interested in the main quests, do note that side quests are also essential as they reward extra XP, strengthen bonds with companions, and give Strength points to the Faction related to the quest.
In the Spirits of the Dalish case, you will gain Strength points among theVeil Jumpers inDragon Age: The Veilguard. This is the Faction you encounter in the Arlathan Forest, which is also where you meet Bellara for the first time.
How To Trigger Spirits Of The Dalish Walkthrough In Dragon Age: The Veilguard
To trigger the Spirits of the Dalish quest, you need toprogress a bit with the main questsand complete one companion quest. Sometime after the Sea of Blood main quest is completed, you return to the Lighthouse and can trigger Harding’s companion quest, An Unfamiliar Sense. Head to the Arlathan Forest and finish the quest, as you help Harding control her newfound powers.
Next, head to the docks where you and Neve went to progress the Shadow Crossings quest and approach the shipwreck to find a spirit. Speak with it to trigger the Spirits of the Dalish quest.
Spirits Of The Dalish Mementos locations In Dragon Age: The Veilguard
Memento Location #1
Go north from the shipwreck, then go right and cross to the other side using the tree branch. Proceed left and climb the slope and be careful of falling rocks. Head left to the edge of the hill to investigate a rock, the first memento.
Memento Location #2
Go back down the slope and proceed ahead towards the wolf statue. Defeat the enemies and approach the broken eluvian in the corner of the area to inspect the second memento.
Memento Location #3
Proceed to thelocked gate in the same areaand open it to find another group of enemies. After dealing with them, jump over the rocks in the ocean to reach the burned remains of a ship and investigate it to get the third memento.
Memento Location #4
Head back to the shore, go north, and follow the quest mark. Approaching a boulder blocking a cave entrance will set off an explosion that removes the obstacle. Take care of the enemies and enter the caves to examine the fourth memento.
Memento Location#5
Proceed west along the shore and turn left towards the path near the owl statue. Climb the hidden slope to the right to fight even more enemies. Jump on the small hill to investigate the final memento.
After collecting all of them, return to the spirit and speak with it. The final step of the Spirits of Dalish quest is to perform a ritual. Jump behind the owl statue and ask Harding to use her new powers to move the rocks blocking the way. Fix the broken device and jump through the blue portal. Finish the ritual to earn 500 XP,stronger bonds with current companions, and 100 Veil Jumpers Strength.
