Starfield’s player count has dwindled dramaticallyin the years since launch. Starfield Rumored for PS5 in Spring 2026
AfterStarfield’s Shattered Space expansion failed to live up to expectations, it really would be no surprise if Bethesda is taking extra time on the next DLC and the PS5 version of the game.Starfield’s PS5 debut gives the game a second chance at a first impression, and could potentially revive interest in the open world sci-fi RPG.
Even though it has yet to be officially announced, aStarfieldPS5 portis a given. Xbox is bringing its major games to PlayStation, withGears of War: Reloadedset to launch for PS5 on August 26. It has also already brought Bethesda-published games to PS5, likeIndiana Jones and the Great Circle, so it wouldn’t make much sense to withholdStarfieldat this point.
