Steamworld Heist 2has multiple forms of currency players will be working for to upgrade their crew and ship. While Fragments andGallons are earnedand kept for as long as needed, Reputation acts differently in that it can only be collected and used on the same day.
The rewards for Reputation are some of the better options in terms of weapons for that point in the game, making it important to increase your crew’s size and take advantage of any Reputation that is earned. Reputation can be farmed, but there are some limitations to how much can be earned in a day. Here’s how to get and use Reputation.
How To Get Reputation In Steamworld Heist 2
Reputation isearned by completing missions with your crew. Completing any mission will reward players with most of the potential Reputation available for that mission, which can be seen in the mission preparation screen. Once the mission begins, a bonus objective will appear in the top right which can also be completed to add to the number of Reputation you get upon completion, while also trying toshoot hats off enemies.
Missions can be completed to earn Reputation as many times as you’d like, thougheach crew member can only complete one mission in a day. This does limit how much Reputation you can earn in a day, and Reputation will need to be used at the end of the day otherwise it is traded for Gallons at a low rate.
How To Use Reputation In Steamworld Heist 2
At the end of a day, you’ll return to a bartender and sleep to progress to the next day. Before doing so, you’ll need to spend all earned reputation, with new rewards becoming available as you progress through the story. TheseReputation rewards are finite, and once they are gone you’ll need to look elsewhere to spend your reputation. The number of dots next to a reward indicates how many times that reward is available.
Reputation does notcarry over to another day, and you’ll beforced to trade in any unused Reputation for Gallonsif they are not used to get a reward. Many Reputation rewards are for larger sums of Gallons, making it best to always spend any Reputation you have on rewards instead of using the forced trade.
