In a recent interview withVariety,Sadie Sink talked about her character Max Mayfield, who seems like she will be acrucial part of the last episodes. Sink said:
“They love having me run. That’s all I’ll say.”
AsVarietypointed out, that could mean thatMax is escaping Vecna. It could also mean that Max’s personal life is a mess and she leaves Hawkins.
While Gaten Matarazzo hasn’t said much aboutStranger Thingsseason 5 in general or Dustin Henderson’s role in the final season, he appeared onThe Tonight Showin March 2023 and addressed the last season. According toE! News, the actor said, “I think it’s in the best hands it can be. Matt and Ross know these characters better than I think we might… I’ve never really given myself the opportunity to think what they might want to do.” He added something that all fans can agree with:
