Summary
Demon Slayeris easily one of themost popular shonen anime that has come out in the last decade, and it is on hand to break even more records with its three-installment movie rollout, the first of which has already broken records in the Japanese box-office.
The Infinity Castle is one of the most anticipated arcs of the entire series and is considered by many to beDemon Slayerat its best. One of the reasons for this is the exciting fights, incredible displays of power, and intense drama. There were a number of new characters introduced who showed off their strength along with other well-known faces that also impressed. This list aims to look ahead at the strongest characters who will make an appearance in theInfinity Castlemovies.

Kaigaku is a character that will be introduced in the Infinity Castle arc and is the newUpper Moon Sixwho replaces Daki and Gyutaro (who died in the Entertainment District arc). Considering how much of a menace those two were, Kaigaku is just as nasty and comes with some history, especially with Zenitsu, to whom he was a senior.
Kaigaku was a very formidable enemy and was the nemesis of Zenitsu, matching and even surpassing the lightning-fast demon slayer. While Zenitsu was able to get his bearing and strike Kaigaku, it is believed that this was a very conditional win. Kaigaku was a worthy replacement in the story and brought even more dramatic tension.

Nakime has already made her debut in the anime, but she played only a minor role. She has since attained the rank of Upper Moon 4 and is the controller of the Infinity Castle. Nakime, unlike most demons, isn’t particularly hostile, even though she is extremely loyal to Muzan.
When confronted by two Hashiras, she was able to hold her own, and they were unable to get the drop on her. Her ability to use herunusual blood artand manipulate her body, especially her eyes and hair, make her a problematic opponent. Her lack of serious combat ability on display counts against her slightly.

As the protagonist of the story, it is only natural that Tanjiro was going to grow even stronger as the story went on. In the Infinity Castle Arc, Tanjiro finds himself up against Akaza, the monstrous demonthat killed Rengoku. That already makes him a terrifying opponent.
Tanjiro’s growth as a character is even more evident as he battles Akaza. He was able to become even faster to keep up with Akaza’s speed. Tanjiro even gained another level of power with his selfless state, which gave him the ability to completely erase his presence during combat.

Akaza is the Upper Moon 3 demon who came to prominence during the Mugen Train arc where he was the main antagonist — and the one to bring about the tragic end of the flame hashira, Rengoku. He is back in the Infinity Castle arc with a point to prove against the hashiras.
Akaza is the ultimate opponent for Tanjiro and was able to tango with both the protagonist and a maestro like Giyu. Worse still, he was able to survive a beheading and grow his head back, which is just nasty work. Akaza’s knowledge of martial arts and his exceptional demon powers make him even more of a menace.

Muichiro Tokito is the youngest hashira, and with good reason, as he got there at the age of 14 after only a short time as a demon slayer. His skill was there for all to see and was particularly evident during theSwordsmith Village arc. In the Infinity Castle arc, he is back and is one of the few hashira that was able to stand against the insane power of Kokushibo.
Muichiro was quite impressive in the fight and was able to use his speed and precise strikes to have a go at Kokushibo. His achievements, potential growth, and resilience earn him points as one of the strongest characters, and his best is yet to come.

Sanemi is the hashira who is always angry at something and someone, but he is also clearly a character who cares a lot. On top of all that, he is incredibly strong. This was made clear in the Hashira Training arc where he fought Giyu to a standstill, and he had no fear when going into the Infinity Castle.
In the upcoming arc, he still plays a rather large role and is one of the hashira to go up against Kokushibo. He is not only fast and strong, but he is also incredibly resilient, taking direct blows from the strongest Upper Moon but still able to survive and hold his own in combat.

Thestrongest hashirais without a doubt, Gyomei Himejima. This much is confirmed by his fellow demon slayers, who are in awe of his ability. The monkish character hasn’t had much chance to shine in battle so far, but he gets ample time in the fight against Kokushibo and was the one most capable of fighting against the monster.
Gyomei has all the things that will make a demon slayer strong: speed, strength, and a reliable weapon. He also has access to the awakened demon slayer mark, which enables him to use the transparent world. In his battle against Kokushibo, he was able to manipulate the demon in battle, which was a very impressive feat on its own.
Doma is one of themost powerful demonsin the series and has a personality that belies a deep well of wickedness. He is confident enough to keep up his carefree attitude even in front of Muzan, who commands fear and reverence from all others.
Doma’s fighting abilities are pretty scary, as showcased when he took on Shinobu, Kanao, and Innosuke — all people he has some sort of history with. In the entire fight, it seems like he never really went full force against them, showcasing just how powerful and terrifying he is. He has incredible speed and a handy weapon (his war fans), which he can use to slice up enemies.

In a lot of fictional titles, the second-in-command is sometimes more impressive than the main villain, and while Kokushibo cannot be said to be scarier than Muzan, he does cut an impressive figure. Not only are his fighting skills second to none, but he also has some remarkable history.
He is the twin of the strongest demon slayer in history, Yoriichi Tsugikuni, and is also an ancestor to Muichiro. Even when severely affected by Sanemi’s blood, he is still an overwhelming force in combat, and this makes him one of the strongest.

Muzan Kibutsuji has quite the resume: he’s the demon king and the very first demon in existence. He is the father of all demons and has lived for over 1000 years. His aims are to live without the fear of dying and attain true immortality. He wants to find a way to live in the sun, which he has so far failed to do.
His powers are undeniable, and seeing how the elaborate plan set by Ubuyashiki (who sacrificed himself nobly and had all the demon slayers and hashiras trying to kill him and still survive) is testament to his ability. In the Infinity Castle arc, he is shown as the biggest threat to humanity. To think this isn’t even his full power, which is only showcased in the final Sunrise Countdown Arc.
