Takopi’s Original Sinreleased its penultimate episode last week, and it shocked the entire fan base. After being led on for 4 episodes that Takopi wanted to make Shizuka happy, it was revealed that Takopi had actually traveled to the past because he wanted to make Marina’s life easier.
Takopi’s First Visit To Earth
Takopi Met Marina And Then Decided To Help Her
On his trip to earth, Takopi initially met Marina. The alien encountered Marina in 2022, and the two soon became friends. The Marina of this timeline had scars on the left side of her face, which were inflicted by her mother. Ever since Marina’s father left them, the young girl’s life had turned into a living hell. Her mother became highly unstable, and she refused to take medication. Marina’s mother still believed that her husband would come back one day and their family would be whole again.
After bumping into Azuma, Marina thought that things would finally change, and they did for a while. But everything came crashing downwhen Shizuka returned to school. Azuma had been smitten with her for years, so he didn’t waste a single second in leaving Marina. The latter went back home, where she told her mother about the incident. The news shook Marina’s mother, and it triggered her own insecurities. She attacked Marina and was getting ready to kill her. However, Marina stabbed her with a broken glass shard. Takopi was shocked to see the incident, so he decided to go back in time to kill Shizuka. He thought killing Shizuka would make Marina’s life better.
Shizuka Got A Massive Setback In Episode 5
At the beginning of Episode 5, fans saw Shizuka traveling to Tokyo to meet her father and Chappy. She was in high spirits, and so was Takopi. Upon reaching their destination, they learned that Shizuka’s father had started a new family and had two daughters plus a dog.
The elder kid asked him why Shizuka kept calling him dad, to which he responded, “I wonder so too.” He had disowned Shizuka and her mother years ago, but the young girl still had hope that something would be different. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. Shizuka and Takopi were disappointed, and they took refuge under a bridge. Takopi noticed that something was wrong with Shizuka. He tried to cheer her up and even suggested going back. However, Shizuka’s mind was preoccupied with Chappy. She was thinking of tearing open her father’s stomach to see if he had eaten Chappy. This was rather troubling, as Shizuka was only a child, and for her to even think of doing something so heinous was just baffling to see.
Takopi’s Original Sin Episode 6 Release Date
Takopi’s Original Sin Episode 6 will be released on August 2nd, 2025.It will be the final episode of the anime, which means all the mysteries will be resolved. Towards the end of the previous episode, Azuma could be seen approaching Takopi. After the alien regained all his memories, it’s likely he will have a lengthy conversation with Azuma. Takopi still struggles with understanding human emotions, and Azuma might help.
It doesn’t seem that Shizuka’s story will have a good ending. She has suffered a lot, but at the same time, she has reached a point where she can openly murder another person. Shizuka has already bashed Takopi’s head with a rock, so she will have no qualms about doing it again.
It will beinteresting to see what happens to Takopi, especially after learning his true goal. He has already killed Marina, and now he has lost Shizuka to the darkness. The alien will have to find a way to come to terms with his decisions.

Takopi’s Original Sin Episode 6 will beavailable to watch on Crunchyroll. The streaming website has the anime in subbed format. So, it will have Japanese audio and English subtitles. As previously stated, it will be the last episode of Takopi’s Original Sin, but fans can still read the manga.
