After creating your own little Hobbit and stepping into the village of Bywater, you’ll need to help it flourish by trading with townsfolk, tending to your garden, fishing from the ponds and rivers, and preparing homemade meals to share with your fellow Hobbit pals. What Time Does Tales of the Shire Release?
Be Ready for Midnight
Tales of the Shire: A The Lord of the Rings Gamewill release at 9 AM PT/ 12 PM ET on June 13, 2025, on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch. This is slightly different to some major games that get midnight releases across different time zones so that fans can begin playing as soon as possible. The game’s release time in various time zones can be found below.

Unfortunately, as this is a smaller release, it appears as though the game can’t be digitally preordered on any platform. As such, players will need to wait until the game officially releases in their time zone (at the time listed above), before they’ll be able to purchase and download the game.
If this changes closer to release, I’ll update this post with the new information so you can get prepared for your venture into the village of Bywater and live out your best Hobbit life. Unfortunately, this time there’s no head start if you’re downloading the game as opposed to buying thephysical edition ofTales of the Shire.
You might want to check that your PC specifications meetTales of the Shire’srequirementsin the meantime, as it’s quite demanding for a cozy game.
